I feel it's still fun to play with friends, but it's hard to get any friends interested enough to play...
I am looking forward to the changes in 1.8 to 'revive' MC.
i have a question when i put on the (32x32) i can't see water it just looks like empty space and the compass and clock are unusable i will like to know i can do to fix that or is it just my computer and i cant us 64x64 or higher and i dont realy like 16x16 and i will realy like to use this texture pack
I didn't know AMD and ATI are different companies since they both use Radeon HD xxxx. Where is the proof of AMD price to performance is better than NVIDIA? Is there any card is better than GTX 460 at same price or GTX 580?
GTX 460, meet AMD Radeon HD 6850.
GTX 580, meet AMD Radeon HD 6970 (or 6950 unlocked).
They are separate.
It used to be ATI, but AMD bought them out.
AMD does the drivers better than ATI did.
I'm no longer looking for testers. I have them all selected and I will continue to update this thread with the progress on the x512. I'm almost finished with the ores. Critique please. =)
Those are brilliant, can't find anything to criticize. :biggrin.gif:
Actually I "heard" it from people who use it. There are lot of stories of it on overclock.net. I'm not saying ATI is a bad brand. I'm saying NVIDIA is good as ATI. Sometimes *cough* it can *cough* be better *cough* than ATI *hacking cough* Excuse me, I got something in my throat.
NVIDIA > ATI
Yes.
AMD > NVIDIA.
ATI, **** drivers.
AMD, amazing drivers.
AMD's price to performance ratio is better than NVIDIA's.
Funny, I heard ATI is having a lot of driver problems. Also I heard they can't handle Crysis 2 tessellation. I don't think I never have a problem with NVIDIA.
'heard' Never used it yourself though? :tongue.gif:
I'm playing in default texture pack now, and even default has really bad grain.
Even WITH mipmapping.
The only solution for this is AF texture filtering...
No matter the size of the texture, if it's not being filtered it's going to look bad. :/
Notch needs to add this, not for HD textures, but for the default textures as well.

They say having WMP running in the background actually improves performance.
Unsure if this goes with other media players.
Maybe I'm a ninja that pops in and out of videos.
Oh and meupatdoes, what mipmapping level were you using in the video?

You just wanted to get me to watch the video.
WELL GUESS WHAT MOTHER****ER?!?!?
...it worked.

512 is DXII, not DII :tongue.gif:
I don't get it, I'm not in the video :sad.gif:
Nope, what you can do for now is DL the 256 and 512 versions and replace the 256 terrain with the one from 512.

You NEED to run it with a modified command line, merely modifying the Java Parameters doesn't really work with 512x512.
I use this:

It's **** though... too many graphical bugs.
Needs to be done in-game.
Plus I don't use NSHITIA :tongue.gif:
AMD bitches. Catalyst Control Center.

Everyone retweet that, please.
