I do not know what teh issue si BUT: I use teh LB 128 pack and it worked fine with mcpatche 2.1.0 on MC 1.6.4. NOw taht MC updated to 1.6.5 it stops.
Not sure what changed but soemtjhing is fried adn sorry to say I think it is MC. mcpatcher and teh texture packs may need to be updated to work.
Cheers.
MCPatcher has an updated version available... 2.10_01beta... It's posted in the thread, within the last few pages.
Though 2.10 regular should still work fine.
Can you give us the error you are getting when it crashes? In code tags please.
Phantom, I agree. But I would love for the thread on GetSatisfaction to get to the first page, so it's plainly visible to all. Not that GetSatisfaction gets looked at or updated, but it's something visible at least.
Well I voted it up.
I just don't think it's going to do anything.
Are you having issues with tools and major artifacts around them too? All I did was add the map to the items file and I'm getting artifacts on all my tools now. Is this a known 1.6.4 glitch? I haven't been able to find it mentioned anywhere.
(On my texture pack btw, but wanted to see if it happened to yours too)
This is an issue with MCPatcher.
It was said that an update would be released last night to fix it, but apparently it's been delayed for some reason.
Great tutorial, though I still don't think people should be hosting servers if they can't figure this out on their own.
At least not Serious Public servers.
That's just my opinion, the tutorial is fine though! :-)
I may be mistaken.. but one of the patch notes mentioned that Advanced OpenGL was disabled for now.. this may very well include support for GLSL (the Shader Language) for OpenGL 1.1 I think?
I suspect this mod will be on hiatus until Notch re-enables Advanced OpenGL.
Hopefully I'm wrong!
Advanced OpenGL is just Occlusion Culling, which was adding in 1.5(or was it 1.4?), and we had the GLSL mod previous to that update.
So that shouldn't affect the updating of this modification at all.
We just need to wait for dax, or some experienced modder, to update it to 1.6.4 (1.6.5 tomorrow).
if its done then it didn't fix the problems im having thats why i asked.
because everytime i try and run it i get an out of memory error or i get white block instead of my items
and this is after i ran the most recent patcher

Survival, not free-build.

Because apparently he doesn't test updates before he puts them out... :sad.gif:

The texture pack is... but it doesn't seem Minecraft is 1.6.5 compatible

Mojang doesn't give a **** what the users want.
Jeb thinks High Resolution Textures look like ****.
That was his stance.
I would love for him to change it, but I highly doubt that is going to happen.
Kahr, when will 2.1.1(?) be released?
Would love to play x64 packs without the tool distortion :S

It happens on all packs, however it is much less noticeable the lower you go in resolution.

Maybe you just don't have enough RAM.
Personally, I use 3GB of RAM on my 64bit system WITHOUT MC or the MC Server running.
I'm a RAM *****... >:biggrin.gif:

Everyone is trying to give him helpful tips and he's replying to them with extreme sarcasm.

We aren't allowed to post minecraft.jar on the forums, or quite honestly anywhere else, for legal reasons.
Restore a backup.

It's done != It's released.

If you don't like it you can always revert back.
Personally, I love 1.6 and have no issues with it that are bothering me at 1.6.4.
1.6.5 that comes out tomorrow will top it off >:biggrin.gif:
