    Support! Adding Colored Light would be an amazing addition! There could be many things done with it, mainly on adventure maps! Imagine, on an adventure map, you create an alarm and so use red light. Oh also, street lights! It would be amazing! And there are many other uses...

    I hope Mojang adds this!

    Hello, I have currently been having a problem at my friend's server. Since when I did /minecraft:kill PgSuper once, everytime I got damaged, it would set my hearts to 0 and repeatedly kill me, but it wouldn't appear any Respawn screen, and /kill wouldn't work. I googled, restarted the server, relogged, tons of times. Nothing. The only TEMPORARY solution was using /god which made me invulnerable. But I don't want to stay in it, I want to survive. (Even on creative and spectator mode it remains). Any help?

    The cool-downs make the game balanced, because there are many strategies you can use. That way all weapons you can say are equally powerful, you just need to train. And, also, both axe and sword have special abilities. The sword has swipe (which deals AoE (= Area of Effect) damage) and the axe has the shield-disabling part. Both are pretty good abilities, but you can also try tons of more weapons, specially with the bow on Left hand. You can literally bypass cooldowns by simply putting a bow on the Left hand (And shooting). It's a good idea.

    I still remember.

    All of it.


    My first world [was in v1.5.2]... well. It was a desert and I was like "what do I do here" then I walked forward and I wasn't mastering the controls and my fingers were hurting. Then, I walked more forward and I found a village (made of sandstone) and I simply opened a door and entered the house and closed it. Then I stayed there, and I saw a bunch of villagers entering. I was surprised. I thought they were actual players. I looked through the window and it was night. Then a skeleton mounted in a spider started to pop (POP NOT POOP!) arrows in me. How - asked I -? There's glass in my front! (Of course I was a noob, I didn't know yet that SPIDER JOCKEYS could fire arrows through glass [and also that they were named like that]). Then I dug straight down and I stayed there 'till I had to sleep (irl)...

    1. Mods work in vanilla servers, but only CLIENT-SIDE mods will WORK. That means, if you install a mod with guns and go to vanilla, you still can't get the gun. Now, mods like NotEnoughItems (NEI) or The 5zig Mod will work because they don't alter gameplay.
    2. You can't make it so people doesn't need to download the mods. If they don't, the items like guns will not appear. Will not be anything. You also need to pay attention in: there are some mods that needs to be installed in the OWN SERVER so people can use it. But, of course, people will still have to get it downloaded. The mods of servers are called Server-Side mods. One example is Inventory Pets.
    2(conclusion). It's not possible to make your own server with mods and make people enter it without having the mods.

    ... Just place the enchanting table like your normally would. This talks about the design of the MAX enchanting table (a.k.a. the one that can give up to 30 level enchantments), which can only be get by placing bookshelves around a enchanting table.
