This is disgusting... The fact that this is forced and not at all an option is an outrage, I think people should have a say in these kinds of things. Also can we just look at how negatively this post was received. I think the majority is disagreeing with this new choice. I'd listen if I were you.

Listen, I hate Creeper holes and my Realm has 8 people in which 5 of them don't give a crap about those things blowing up chunks into the landscape. I keep mobgreifing on due to it being scummy and a cheat. But I do understand, they are annoying and unbearable to deal with when you don't have any dirt or sand. Long story short, they are awful but we all have to deal with it.
