whatch this..It proves that roblox copied minecraft..Oh and I stopped playing roblox which is for LITTLE GARRELS and moved to Minecraft which is gold..

Roblox does not work like that at ALL.

Players have "places" where they can create whatever they want and post it to the public. Roblox actually has a WAY larger opportunity to be creative (sounds, meshes, complex scripting, custom GUI) and is easier to use.

The person who created this Minecraft map is not part of Roblox, is not a person who thinks he will get rich by copying Minecraft. He is a person who probably is a fan of the game and made a map BY HIMSELF which took hours of complex scripting to make.

Majority of the kids who played that map probably have never heard of Minecraft. I know I didn't when I played that EXACT map back in 2010.

Also, that map was the exact same thing as Minecraft classic, so really, all they did was made a multiplayer version of Minecraft Classic for free (which people should be thanking the creator for).

posted a message on Buying a new PC - Got some advice for me? :)
    Quote from chris0744

Well, I've got 6GB atm, and I sometimes have big laggs, or framerate issues with some games. And when I'm running steam + skype + internet (+youtube) + minecraft + a minecraft tekkit server and maybe even more, 6 GB just isnt enough. :P

I live in the netherlands.. (as it says under my picture on the left <) Yes, I need an OS :P
And I don't even know how overclocking works/what it actually does.. so.. I gues not.. maybe..

Also, 16 GB of ram just seems good/nice to have. With games requiring more and more RAM getting 16GB now would mean I won't have to buy a new pc for quite some time. And theres not really anything between 8 and 16 GB, and I don't think 8 will be good sufficient.

Trust me, 8 is more than enough. My current computer only has 4 (and can only use 3.25), but I can run steam, skype, and a MC server just fine. RAM doesn't help your framerate issues. Did you allocate more RAM to Minecraft? If so, unallocate it. It actually brings down your FPS. You only need 512mb, unless your getting frequent memory crashes.

Do you need a monitor? A mouse, keyboard? What games are you going to be playing on it.

Sounds cool, but how do I get the TNT to automatically ignite?

edit: also, it sounds like it would work better in a bedrock maze, because then you don't have to remake the entire arena every time you want to play.

I forgot to add that in, make it out of bedrock, but put dirt inside it so the players have to destory blocks before reaching the other players. I usually play with chests hidden in between dirt as power-ups (e.g: potions, light armor)

You could play bomberman! Basicly, you have players in an arena filled with an block with low blast resistence (e.g:dirt), and redstone torches under the floor. Each player gets TNT, and when they put down TNT, it should automatically ignite. The goal is to kill all the players, and win.

Always have some kind of building block in your inventory such as dirt, it can help you escape.
