I think it would be helpful to try your hand at abstract builds. People feel they must make things realistic and then wind up with boring boxes anyway. If you make abstract structures, you don't have to worry about whether it looks realistic or makes sense. Just go in and place things however you feel like at the time, don't let your inner critic drag you down.
This opens up the door to all sorts of surreal structures. Heck, you might even want to try looking at paintings by surreal artists and copying what you see.
And don't forget to read guides on how to make good builds.
Same. I'm in a Large Biomes Savanna Plateau. I walked a short distance, found a river at the base of a plateau, and burrowed into the plateau where it meets the river. Started a sheep farm outside, a wheat farm dug into the plateau, and am ready to make a little hideout in that hole. I can't think to make anything good though because I hardly got any sleep, so I'll probably just play Streets of Rage instead.
I do have to wonder how many little kids there are who haven't heard anything about an update, don't know shields exist, and are suddenly finding their rears handed to them by skeletons.
I'm certain plenty of hardcore worlds have finally come to an end these last 24 hours.
i dont usually play large biomes unless i want to stay in a single large biome all the time (such as a large snowy biome, or a hard desert survival)
I like the considerable size it gives me for building single biome bases and I'm obsessed with plains that stretch as far as the eye can see, in every direction. I'm probably never gonna find a mesa (if I do, it will likely be too far to even be worth traveling to from my other bases via nether rail). I haven't even found a desert yet.

They also made it so worlds generate with 128 strongholds instead of 3.

Don't forget to give them lots of clerics. They have a bounty on zombie pigmen. Just show them the rotten flesh
A girl I know wants to build a village in The End, which will probably be considerably easier than having one in the nether

Better yet, build a village in the nether. Give them an extra-large church. They'll be on a crusade against the foul beasts of hell.

Because it's not being released midnight your local time.

Who actually attains the Adventuring Time achievement in a Large Biomes world? Has anyone here?

Firefox. Has anyone said Internet Explorer as the primary browser?

Roughly 45 hours, in April of 2007. I haven't surpassed it since then, luckily. I just had really bad insomnia.

I live in a plains biome in a Large Biomes survival world. Plains are my favorite and they're best with Large Biomes.

Has anyone seen a pink sheep in the wild?

The blood. Gah!
