I expect the server owner to resolve problems as they occur and to enforce server rules so everyone can have a good time.
I am a pretty good builder, though I am still learning, and I am very good at farming. I have also started dabbling with brewing potions. I do tend to keep odd hours, but I do my best to be a beneficial member to the servers that I join.
