    Is the crafting pipe functional at all? Can someone please explain how to use it properly or confirm it is broken?

    Empy and blaze- if you have current worlds you've played with Botania in it, could you upload the configs so we could take a gander? If there's a dimension option, I'm fine with resetting the TF if the botania flowers are set to generate there on a rare basis.

    I never liked how easy it appeared to be to get the flowers, and once you have them you're mostly set, since there's a means of making more flowers from the flowers you get. If there's a means of making flowers loot-only rewards, I'd be interested in that too, moreso if the "make more flowers from flowers" option can be disabled too. The flowers are so powerful I feel each one should be treated as equal to a block of diamonds, so to speak.

    The server finally seems stable in terms of big issues, but while i'm def interested in Agricraft and interested in Botania to a lesser extent, I'd be in favor of holding off adding them for a week or two while we get the bugfix updates going and get the configs sorted and whatnot. There's heaps we can do without those mods in right away, so it should be that big a deal to hold off a bit, if others don't have any objections to them being added. I'd also like the time to help Dulci test them out for a bit before we consider putting them on the server, to make sure they don't make things "too easy."

    Also, what blazingquill mentioned above about feast foods and ease once you have one or two crops reminded me: we've had the spice of life rotation thing set at 6 foods before getting full value back.We tried 12 for a while but that seemed to be overly burdensome. Can we try with the spice of life setting set at 9 to see if that hits the spot? I meant to bring this up ages ago but kept forgetting, and I think it would encourage a bit more diversity, and hopefully even bartering amongst us to trade X crop for Y crop.

    Anyone able to make titanium rods in the vat after the latest update? I have 9 ingots worth of molten titanium in the vat and no other molten metal, a stick in the vat, and it's not turning into a titanium rod. NEI indicates a stick is needed. Tried a polished stick for good measure and that didn't work either.

    EDIT: Did some hunting and found something about needing to use titanium tough rods if TiC is installed. Made those, threw them in a vat full of fish oil, nothing. To test, I cheated in a mariculture titanium rod and a mariculture titanium stick and also threw those in the vat. Nothing. I did notice the polish titanium rod needs 6500mb of fish oil and the vat holds 6000, not sure if that's affecting the crafting of polished titanium rods.

    Is cooking raw minecraft salmon supposed to produce mariculture smoked salmon that overwrites vanilla's cooked salmon?

    Using latest TC4 (4.2.3.5) and latest recommended Forge (1291) has anyone else in server play experienced a lack of champion mobs?

    I assume the "spined," "vampiric," "warped," et cetera, are the "champion" mobs. If I'm wrong, please let me know. Those are the mobs I'm referring to though.

    I saw that in 4.2.3.4 the champions were beefed up, but nothing about becoming rarer. I have not seen any on our server since updating to the above mentioned TC4 and Forge versions. I'd test with just TC4 and Forge but I'm not the server admin, I'm just helping by asking around before trying other things to troubleshoot.

    I used the search function for both but didn't find any comments from modders regarding these issues other than a comment from Vaz about adding a config option way back in 2013:

    Is there any chance that config options to disable the osmotic enchanter and the thaumic repairer will be added at all? It seems like such an easy thing to do, and really would go a looooooooong way towards helping server admins trying to keep servers challenging and balanced across the board. Those two blocks, while awesome and fun in their own right, can completely break server balance.

    Just my humble opinion that a config option to disable those two things while keeping all the other neat little toys would be preferable to eliminating TT from a modset entirely.



    Many thanks for updating and maintaining a heck of a mod!

    Can someone explain how to use the crafting pipe? Or at least the mechanics of getting it to work in conjunction with a request pipe?

    I have it attached to a pipe system, filled in a crafting matrix with a piston recipe. Put the necessart component for pistons in a chest with a routed pipe on it with extractor, broadcast and dynamic item chips in it. I have seen tutorial videos of 1.6.4 versions of the crafting pipe used, but it seems very different from the current version. I have not attempted attaching the crafting pipe to an autocrafting table from a different mod, as that seems to not be necessary.

    The request pipe sees the available recipe to craft the piston and when clicked to craft, I get the message saying "successfully requested one piston."

    Then absolutely nothing happens.

    I have also noticed that the button to push for "items only" or "crafting only" items to show up in the request pipe gui (at the lower right) are pretty derpy.

    I am not on the latest version of PR, but I am on one of the more recent stable versions, and there is nothing in any of the update info for newer versions about crafting/request pipe mechanisms being fixed.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Gotcha, wasn't sure if fall resistance was supposed to be a "lesser" version of paraglide, but I guess to maximize the perk of paraglide, fall res is needed. Just seemed a bit goofy to slowly be drifting downwards, land like a moth, then suddenly take 8 hearts of damage. :P



    Time to make a new necklace!



    It's your mod, so if you want to leave the Blink default as is, no one can stop you. A config option eventually for tweaking the parameters would be greatly appreciated though. Being able to blink 100+ blocks in rapid succession just seems a bit much!

    I strongly second what Dulci said. I think blink is great, but should be tied to how ender pearls work a little bit.

    Roughly, throwing one ender pearl can get you about 50 blocks. I would suggest that Blink I has a 25 block range and 10 second cooldown, 50 and 10 for blink 2, and 50 and 5 seconds for blink III.

    Just my suggestions to keep it from getting overpowered yet still be engaging and useful.

    Are you supposed to take fall damage when in glide mode with the paraglide enchant? I take fall damage and it seems counterproductive to the use of the enchant.

    Also, on the previous page you said books can be combined with pearls- how? I have a Sonic V book I'm trying to combine with a pearl but it won't work in the anvil and I can't find anything in the sea witch book about combining books and pearls. (EDIT: My server admin may have disabled them in the configs, that would explain it).

    Those are the exact six biblio wallmaps I have up, the only ones I still left up on the walls. My base is indeed chunkloaded, so they are persistent. I'll take them down now, so keep that in mind when monitoring going forward.

    We could try to take down the maps in dave's castle for now too, I'm sure he won't mind.

    I just made six new biblio maps and put them on the walls in the biblio map frames. I also have six or seven other maps, explorercraft, in the vanilla item frames. Should I take down some or all of the wall maps for now?

    I have one set up that I'm close to getting fully set up, but haven't activated it yet. I planned to make it my main source of power and I've stocked up on Yellorium from the TF. If it's causing clear issues, then take it out if you have to. I'll just have to reconsider my power network. :)

    I saw the error line about the BR multiblock glass. What do you mean by not being able to start the server with it? I assume you mean the new one.

    The current server is having the time out issues again, probably could use a quick reboot.

    I personally tweaked my OpenBlocks config, and download and replaced the other two Ducli just gave us and was able to get on the server, no problem.

    Also- You guys said you were having issues with chickens? that MIGHT be my fault. I had a massive overflow of eggs I wasn't using(and storage space is at a premium atm), so like any sensible person i went and chucked them off a cliff. There's probably a lot of chickens in the lower half of my town, the one with the big house with the chimney.

    Pipe all your excess to an AW trash can, an Extra Utils trash can, or a RC void chest. There's no reason to be chucking stuff off cliffs to leave the ids in the world when we have a slew of low-impact disposal options. :)
