I myself have started modding recently, and this would be perfect for some of the things I have planned, primarily lasers and color mixing when light passes through a colored medium, primarily crystals of various sorts... Hi there strangers. I'm trying to put together a modpack that revolves around living in enormous caves. Problem is, I can't find a worldgen mod that suits my needs!
I've tried Caveworld, which had very poor generation, VERY poor biome support and absolutely no way to generate foliage, grass or other worldgen features.
I've tried BWG4's cave worldtype, which is essentially a very basic "vanilla" world with a roof, I found this pretty unsatisfactory too, even though it had trees and water and such as it does not take advantage of the heightlimit or really have any varied terrain.
Finally I tried Giant Caves; the worldgen itself I was very impressed with in terms of the scale of the caves and the stalagmites, but the fact that it doesn't have any underground features like foliage and that it has an aboveground surface is, again, unsatisfying.
So, I'm sure by now you realize what I'm looking for; biome support, terrain gen features, and large caves that take full advantage of the height limit. Things like clusters of plants, occasional large light sources like glowstone, big mushroom jungles, all that sorta stuff would be fantastic. Again I'm just asking if such a mod already exists.
I can't support this until we see some updates. Nobody else is freaking out about the Microsoft acquisition, most people have caught up with 1.7.10, what's with the delay?

A part of the fun of withers is if you do it wrong, then your island gets totaled. If you do it right, it should be safe.
And technically there shouldn't even be an earth. You're on a miniscule plot of land in an ocean of void. There should be nothing to even see from space.

So, it's exactly the same as RedPower frames but with less features? Well done mod, but I don't see any point for it when we still have RedPower.
Keep in mind that Eloraam's bizarre update schedule means we probably won't see an updated version for a long time. I don't blame people for being impatient.

I'm trying to install BWG3 for 1.4.6, but no matter what I try it doesn't seem to be working. I have it in the mod folder and I'm using the last version of Forge made for 1.4.6. Any help?
