((Pretty sure the Hanzo's are almost extinct.))

Nineball takes aim as the newcomer ran off to go help a man that had recently jumped out of a bush. It seemed most of the machines were gone by this point, with the exception of a few. The sniper he had stunned was still in the tower, not active, which means he could go get his gear after the battle. There was still the issue of the Akechi firing at the two, but there wasn't much Nineball could do at the moment. 'Scanning for possible points of interest.'

(Scanning the Akechi for anything unusual or known to be a fact.)

(I've killed 11 Hanzos, 1 vampire, and stunned another Hanzo.)

    Quote from Meritania»

I added a driving skill to my character, it was accepted without argument. I will probably give my character a 50cc motorbike or a two-seater 20kWh electric car to her started, her driving skill is pretty low to justify anything with power.

I see... I wonder if this will be accepted as a skill type, considering it's quite useful in those niche situations. I mean, who doesn't want to be able to fly a VTOL? Supposing we find one lying around somewhere.

Okay, I'll wait until the full list is out. Maybe a vehicular skill could be involved, depending on how many unusual vehicles there will be.

    I was thinking:

Vehicular Prowess 1: You've gotten your drivers license and have experience. You can do decently well in other vehicles if pressured enough. You may drive at max a dump truck, albeit unfamiliar. This is essentially your run of the mill driving skill, although consider it a bonus more than a necessity.

Vehicle Prowess 2: Remember that dump truck? That's child's play. You can now drive/pilot most land and sea vehicles, and this does apply to light armored vehicles. You may be able to use a jetpack of some kind, but you won't be very graceful with it. You have good knowledge on vehicles and how to fix them.

Vehicular Prowess 3: Well, you've officially turned into the Mobius One of all vehicles, essentially being able to pilot anything you've come across with flying colors. You know the ins and outs of each vehicle, from engine to cockpit. Jets, Helicopters and more are easily piloted by you, and that jetpack? Mastered it.

    Just an idea.

If you specialize in medical, would that give you more knowledge of the human body and how it functions?

If I may suggest, maybe add a couple more arm abilities. Or a leg one. We have a shock arm, now all we need is a pocket knife one, and a bladed foot.

Enhanced Musculature, Mechanical or not? Is it biotech which still can be EMP'd, or just an enhancement?

(10 will be dead, 1 stunned. I counted my kills. Well, that Arc Rifle thing is good and bad in it's own ways I guess. 11/17 defeated, excluding the big ones. I haven't checked everyone elses posts yet.)

While Nineball would've waited for the fog to disappear, he remembered his FLIR wouldn't be as effective in high quantities of moisture. It would still work to an extent, although he would only see a short distance into the cloud. He swapped over to the FLIR, and took aim at one of the soldier's guns. Considering they were robotic, the heat sig for them wasn't big. Luckily, the guns were, as they were shooting at the girl. 'Charge at 40%, fry the circuits...' Nineball charged his rifle to 40%, a lower amount of electricity forming around the front of the rifle.

Soon, the girl rushed out of the fog, leading 6 of the soldiers out with her. They'd be focused on him after he fired, but he could take some shots, unlike a living thing. She waved and called out, gesturing to the soldiers behind her. It was an obvious request for help, and second nature to perform the actions required to help those in need. "Alrighty." Nineball fired the 40% charged rifle at a droid in the middle, two more getting caught before the others backed away, clearly recognizing what was going to happen. The 3 droids didn't seem too damaged on the outside, but the damage was pretty bad for the fragile insides, and they fell over with several clanks. The 3 remaining droids began to focus fire on his position, at which point Nineball slid down the hill he was on, running towards a piece of cover.

He soon put his rifle in his bottom right hand, and rushed around the corner, finding 2 out of 3 droids firing at him. 4 bullets had struck him, 2 in the right torso and 2 in the top of his right leg. Luckily they didn't go through, meaning he could take in those bullets to patch in the holes. At least partially. Triggering his gauntlets and greaves, he jabbed 1 of the droids with his two left hands, tripping and kneeing the other with his right leg. Both being shocked until they ceased to function. Nineball let out a mechanical sigh, thinking that the droids would've been trained on how to deal with shock weaponry. His attention now returned to the girl, who he had scanned for until a box showed up, essentially telling him where she was.

Nineball picked up one of the dropped weapons from the droids and ran to the girl, holding out the weapon while observing the surrounding area. The weapon was one of the Assault Rifles mentioned in his scan data, which had about 18 shots out of 31 left in the magazine. "18 out of 31 shots left, hope you know how to use a gun. Swap to semi-auto using that switch on the side, it'll help alot with ammo conservation."

'Scanning...' A new combatant had entered the area, but there was no telling whether she was an ally or an enemy. She had attacked one of the many soliders littering the ground, and killed him quite quickly. 'Possible ally... Or just trying to get our gear... Either way, she did some work, and drew the attention from the others and I.' Taking this opportunity, Nineball took aim upon those who had been outside of the new fog that girl had created, but had to wait before firing, as he couldn't risk harming a potential ally. Instead, he'd fire at a lone soldier that was also focused on her. Yet another soldier crumpling to the ground, toasted. 'Total enemies remaining...' (Halp if anyone is still into this.)

"Leading? Why can't we just make votes on what to do? Having a direct leader leads to arguments... Then again, so does having an opinion. One less person to lead I guess. Well, when she dies I'm taking her stuff. Supposing she has a body when she dies." Magnolia watched as the girl had thrown a miniature tantrum and stormed off, most likely not sure where she was going. She'd most likely die without a group, but she meant one less mouth to feed. Life was slowly getting better for Magnolia, they could now split up more resources between themselves.

"So, at least we have one less person to eat up our supplies... Whenever we get those. Less stretching resources. Don't worry about her, let her make her own decisions. Lets see what happens, I'm kinda interested to see if she lasts more than a week." Magnolia let a smirk cross her face, but it faded not too long after. 'Why would they go after someone who said they didn't want to stay in the group? They'd be a detriment and a waste of food... Honestly, they'd only be helpful when they die. At that point, we'd have some fresh meat to mess with... Supposing she doesn't get eaten by something else...'

Magnolia assumed that she really might have been in a game after all. There was a narrator, apparent powers and even the idea that everything wants to kill the group. "Well, looks like this is a video game... But with permadeath. Perfect..." Magnolia looked around to observe other people's reactions, most consisting of shock and awe. 'Clearly they aren't used to this logic...'

Some of them mentioned experimentation, one girl already toying with her fingers. Magnolia wouldn't get the chance to test hers for the time being, but that didn't matter to her. She's just there because she has to be, not because she wants to show off. "Well, you have fun with that. Mine seems to be a passive, so I guess I have to wait."
