I suppose Gap's first appearance would be in a classroom of some kind... Or whatever. It's primarily up to Entei, considering I don't know where she'd be.
I do have a question, can someone be driven insane as a non-A.I machine? Like saying if the electronics in a drone would for some reason lose it, which doesn't make too much sense.
Name: 000-GAP (Gynoid "Answer" Project.)
(Give them a nickname if you'd like, otherwise I'll refer to her as Gap.)
Age: Mentally/Programmed 17.
Gender: Technically none. Programmed female.
Appearance: Adaptable, but will likely be seen as such. (Attached.)
Doesn't have anything below the helmet… Considering that's
her head. Might be changed later down the line, depending on the requests of
many and the demands of society. It's assumed that the main body can be
separated from the frame for easier movement in small spaces. The height
including the frame is around 8'6, or 2.59 meters. Without the frame she's
around 5'6. Her voice is around the middle ground for females. (May add more
detail later.)
Race: Gynoid (Machine.)
Personality: Gap is… Not 100% emotionless, nor
unable to feel. She was given an A.I for a reason, primarily for dealing with
other people. It's kinda hard at times to just talk to some monotone,
unflinching piece of metal all day. However, her personality is primarily
shaped by her environment, the people she spends the most time with, and life
events. As of the start, she'll be decently basic. Nothing too extravagant. She
has opinions, but that's about it.
Powers: Gap is designed specifically to gather data on something, and begin to make a counter-loadout. Essentially
adaptation, but it takes at least a day for it to kick in.
Seemingly, she can control her shape and form new technology from herself. It's unknown how this happens for now.
Besides that, there's the normal perks of being a
machine, strength, unending stamina, can always just revert to standard
programming instead of letting the A.I get in the way… Durability, light
shielding for now, capable of stopping .50 rounds about 5 times before needing
a recharge. Other smaller arms have an even tougher time, and some might be
nullified. This applies to other types of damage as well, unless the attack is
actually designed to get past it. Essentially, with shielding up, normal humans
won't be able to deal significant damage without a weapon or ability. Even
without the shield, I doubt a human could beat the thing to death without extra
strength. Impact/Piercing strength is different from other kinds though, so try
to improvise if you want to fight her for whatever reason.
Low level flight, under 300mph. (482kph) Maximum speed for the moment is 240mph. (386kph) That
speed will typically result in less maneuverability.
Back Story: Gap was made in response to the
academy's request for assistance. Her creator goes unnamed for now, besides the
initials "A.M". The inspiration for the design could be credited to
an old show (By the current setting), but it was obscure, so not many would
know about it anyway. The process of creating such a machine wasn't as
difficult as some might have thought, or at least that seems to be the case.
Gap was sent shortly after the letter had been received, about a week in
advance to those arriving. In the metal container was a manual, Gap herself,
and little else. It seemed there was some kind of lock on the box, but that was
resolved after a phone call arrived, essentially giving the combination to
unlock the thing. Whether or not she was activated early is up to the story.
She does know what she was made for to an extent.
Equipment:
Scan Visor: (Built in, kinda self-explanatory.)
Gives information on a subject, though can't figure out things that don't stand
out. (Like being a magic user, since it can't detect mana just yet.)
Translation System: Can speak nearly all human
languages.
Basic Loadout No.1: Consists of a standard anti-materiel rifle (13mm), and a hardened sword. The style of sword is odd,
but useable. It's about 5 feet, or 1.52 meters long.
Weaknesses: Giving her entirely new scenarios can be hard to deal with, considering she likely won't have the counter at the
moment. If she lets emotions get in the way, some tasks may never be
accomplished.
Anyway, I pair music with fights and weapons all the time, I just haven't signed up yet. Considering quite a bit of electronic is created via computer... Does that count as an instrument?
While I have absolutely no clue what this is, besides one abridged episode I watched that was priceless, maybe. Possible interest, if I knew how exactly character sign-up would play out. Honestly, unless this needs me to watch the anime, going in blind might be fun.

Just a question for an answer to a question.

Other: Mahogany, and yes, she's waterproofed.
EDIT: I deleted picture 3.

Is it okay if my character was shipped to the academy as a "reply"? In other words, their creator sent them.

Oh, so it's not so far back in time that the internet didn't exist... Well, we know what that means. (Experimental) Dolls, Drones and Androids oh my!

Okay, what type of effects/damage are you trying to dish out here? Constant DPS, Burst... Status effects...

I am generally curious as to how things will work here... Lots and lots of youtube/soundcloud visits or...

Finally, S-34 again!

Interesting. I'd have to take some time to determine exactly what race though.
