RTG doesn't alter foliage colours, or at least it shouldn't be.

What version of RTG is doing this? Any other information you can provide would be helpful as this should definitely not be happening.
    .

I honestly don't remember what version it was. I was using an older version in an experimental modpack, but my computer got a nasty virus and I had to wipe the hard drive. All I remember is that it was doing something odd to BOP. This was maybe 3 or 4 months ago so I assume there have been a lot of releases since then. I'll have to test it with a new version.

posted a message on Where to download Spigot 1.8.8?

    Check Out this website, http://www.getspigot.org

I'm a nice guy, and I don't want to be one of those idiots who says "Use Google", but I found this with a simple google search... top of the page! I hope I've been able to get my point across. Btw if your having any issues setting up spigot, let me know! The version from this site is virus free, and I gave it a simple run to make sure it works. Good Luck With whatever server your trying to start!

Is there any chance of this coming to 1.8?

The code of forge for 1.7.10 and the code of forge for 1.8 are very different. It's very unlikely that the devs will have a version for 1.8 soon, seeing as how they are still trying to make the mod compatible with other 1.7 mods, and iron out bugs. However I'm sure they will make one eventually. It's just a matter of time.

What people don't seem to understand(Which drives me, as a small developer, absolutely insane) is that when modders update from 1.x.x to 1.X.X, It's not a simple matter of changing a little code and releasing a new version, with major updates like this we have to literally rewrite a mod from scratch. Even worse, is that when the internal structure and functionality of forge changes, we actually have to LEARN how to mod with the new update, which can take a very long time.

posted a message on Minecraft 1.9 - the end of PVP

From what I've seen of 1.9, Mojang is trying to make the game(Especially In PVP) more realistic, and I like that. In reality, do you think you could pick up a sword and swing it into someone's face repetitively in a few seconds? NO! That doesn't happen. I know that not everyone will agree with me.. Its an opinion after all, but try to think of all the benefits. I know the new types of command blocks will make redstoners lives much easier. And iron bars and glass panes being small pillars if their not connected to adjacent blocks, that's cool, and it will open up new possibilities for building. I have been playing this game since beta.. I'm NOT a noob, and no one else here should be called one, even if they are bad at the game.. Do you people know how many 37 year olds play minecraft with their kids? There's a lot of them, and I'm sure they don't want to be insulted by people ranging from ages 11 to 24. I don't want this post to turn into a rant, so I'm just gonna end it here, but how about you guys judge the new update, when it's actually finished and released.

posted a message on TARDIS Mod [Updated to v0.994 on 25/12/2015]

Hey Shane! So I have been playing around with this mod with some other mods in a experimental custom pack I'm working on, and I have noticed that the temporal laboratory doesn't accept ore dictionary equivalent versions of the materials that can be put in it, for instance TerraFirmaCraft Gold and Iron dont work with it. Anyway I was wondering if you could make the temporal laboratory ore dictionary compatible. Thanks!

What did you change to get Cofh working? Actually, if you link your repo, I will just look through and implement anything necessary. Forge's annotations have always been beyond me, I really suck at some things lol.

For rainfall, I was thinking about making it refill oceans and rivers to sea level, but putting water on the ground didn't work out very well during testing and was dropped fairly early on (I think that most players wouldn't like having puddles of water _everywhere_, plus balancing to prevent world flooding seemed too difficult). I do plan to add a special "catchment" block which would collect water on top during rain though.

Just remembered another big issue that needs to be tackled at some point; oceans and rivers draining into caves and ravines.

Fantastic! Your Back! I haven't seen any activity on this thread in a while from you..

Ladies and Gentlemen, Steves and Alexes, Aliens and Robots of All Ages, I present to you, PatTech! PatTech is a heavily WIP mod for Minecraft focused around the "Redstone Flux" API. My Goal is to create a Realistic "Tech" mod, with all sorts of new possibilities for Minecraft.
