"2015 will be a good year for the game!"
Dunno about that... This game gets buggier and buggier by the month, and all the more slower. I'll believe it when I see it.

Well then those minecraft videos he puts on the home page are not news then are they? It's obvious that a lot of the "news" on the home page is not really news, according to the definition these replies give. I agree with the first post, perhaps we should do away with unimportant stuff like the youtube videos, but keep updating stuff like, well... updates! -

Sep 15, 2014Pasta_power posted a message on [Official] Microsoft has Bought Mojang and a message from Notch.I'm speechless... I can't believe they actually did it... It will be interesting to see what comes out of this. I'm neither optimistic nor pessimistic about this, because well... I'm starting to lose interest in minecraft, and am approaching a point where I don't even play anymore. The game has just changed so much since when I bought it in September of 2012(2011?), and frankly, the game has long since lost its magic (to me at least).Posted in: News
Let's face it, since beta 1.7, mojang has been getting progressively worse and worse at evolving the game. They've made so many bad decisions with the game. Enchanting, potions, beta 1.8's terrain, the bugs, bad optimization, etc. Minecraft is but a shadow of it's former self. It's just not the same anymore.
Or... You know, maybe it just got old?
Anyways, well have to wait and see what Microsoft does with minecraft. Who knows... Maybe they will somehow end up being the ones to fix many of the glaring problems with the game, possibly even restore Minecraft to it's former glory? Or... Maybe they will just end up being the ones digging Minecraft's grave...
Either way, I don't care too much, as I've pretty much given up on the game at this point. -
Sep 15, 2014Pasta_power posted a message on [Official] Microsoft has Bought Mojang and a message from Notch.I find it absolutely hilarious that you tell people to stop flaming, being disrespectful, and "post nice things instead". But then you proceed to say that you are smarter than him and tell him to shut up. Please do continue with your extremely hypocritical "white knighting" statements that contradict each other on the same line of text.Posted in: News
Seriously though, please stop it. -

Remember when they added enchantments? They were invisible to other players in multiplayer initially, so you never knew someone might have super-OP gear until it was too late. Enchantments to this day, remain the most unbalanced thing in the game next to potions.
Remember beta 1.8 and release 1.7? After beta 1.8, fans were mad over the lack of variety in the terrain (for good reasons too), begging on their hands and knees for mojang to change it back or fix/improve it. Mojang ignored these people for over a year. Then mojang, without looking more into the issue, released 1.7, saying it would fix the issues with the terrain. All it did though, was simply double the biomes, while adding a super-strict temperature system. It didn't fix anything.
Remember all the obvious, long-standing major bugs? Shouldn't have to explain this one...
I could probably list several more reasons why it technically IS mojangs fault. Not entirely though, obviously some of the community just wants to whine about everything. But to say that a scenario as serious as this, is the community's fault, means you aren't looking at the bigger picture. -

I don't think that's even possible, I mean there COULD be some way to make it 3d, but it would have to flip between the X axis, and the Z axis, it would be more of a pseudo 3d. -

Mar 26, 2014Pasta_power posted a message on Minecraft No Longer Officially Working With Oculus RiftPosted in: NewsQuote from Divinius
People have far too much of a "love/hate" view of Facebook, and gamers are typically in the "hate" category (and rightly so). That alone is going to stifle their success (Notch immediately jumping ship is a prime example), and that won't help them to be able to sell whatever they end up peddling.
EA has made some of the buggiest, and frustratingly glitchy games ever made, but those games still sell well.
Apple makes ridiculously overpriced electronic devices, that were made for possibly less than 10$ by some notorious company in china (Foxconn) that provided terrifying working conditions, yet those devices are still universally successful.
Microsoft has had sort of a control-freak/market-manipulation attitude with their OS's, yet they are still the biggest PC company in North America.
What makes Facebook any different?
Oh, and there goes my plans of buying an Oculus rift headset in the near-future... thanks Facebook. -

Awesome! Thank you so much! It doesn't have to be shiny, but feel free to throw in those extra moves (I'll end up changing the moveset anyways) and heal ball. Also, since I'm gonna have an alakazam on my team, I was wondering if I could trade you a kadabra and back to evolve it? In any case, I look forward to trading with you tonight.

No nickname please. Just be sure the cleffa you're breeding for me fits the description I gave in my earlier post. Any pokemon you want for it in particular?

They honestly should have done this a loooooooong time ago. Especially considering the near-mandatory choice of pvp-enabled servers in this game. For a game that emphasizes so much on the player's freedom to do anything, it's multiplayer does the exact opposite. The vast majority of servers have forced-pvp.
Them adding shields could've made the difference between me quitting this game, and continuing to play it. Guess which choice I made?

So I'm trying to build a team for the June international online competition, which I need ready by the 25th...
Anyways, I've been trying to breed a 5IV (all but attack) cleffa, with bold nature and hidden ability (whatever gets a clefable unaware). Thanks to the stupid happiness requirement and egg group cleffa is in, It's proven to be too time-consuming to do myself.
So I was wondering if anyone (probably blazevoir) has, or is willing to breed, either a cleffa, clefairy or clefable that fits the given description, and has the move wish (more egg moves, deja vu). Please reply back if anyone is interested in this trade, and I will reply back with an offer. Thanks!

A post editor where the save button is so non-functional, to the point where it forces me to double-post, is a broken post-editor indeed. How does that even happen?
Have you guys forgotten a thing such as clipboard exists?

Whats N.B.? New Brunswick? Oh you mean Nickelback, I'm an idiot.
Thank you for changing the poll, OP.

How do we not know this image was altered, or that the person in question was nicknamed as an imposter? This could just be something a user made in word-pad for all I know! I'd like to see additional sources please, or at least a link to the imgur page for that picture.
I find that picture very hard to believe.

Too nice indeed, this was just the sneasel I wanted! Thank you so much! If you aren't satisfied with what I gave you, then I could give you a different or another pokemon.
Also, I didn't actually give you one of my competitive box pokemon, as I was kind of paranoid due to not having very many. So I'll have to breed more of those in the future.
Once again, thank you so very much, you're the best!

For me, its the other way around.

In fact, they're just about the only mainstream artist nowadays that I enjoy listening to, as opposed to all those other artists I listed, and then some.
Also, your poll is very biased, there should be some options in between "love them" and "hate them". You really should change that, or a lot of people won't vote in your poll.
They may not have much variety between songs, but at least each individual song has much better lyrical composition and variety, musical structure, etc, than dozens of other mainstream titles combined. They are certainly enjoyable to listen to. Who cares if the different songs sound alike? When you're listening to them in a track and not actively comparing one-another, you probably won't notice anyways.
At least it doesn't sound like this:
The lyrics are literally "we fell in love in a hopeless place" repeated from start to finish, with the occasional "yellow diamonds in the light, and we're standing side by side", thrown in for good measure.
Now THATS a lack of variety!

They were stupid enough to royally fail to fix what was relentlessly begged to be fixed by many, MANY fans for over 2 years. AKA: The terrain and 1.7. Yeah, I think they are more than just incompetent...
You're right though, mojang didn't fire him, he just left out of sheer frustration with mojangs incompetent ability to run a business and properly develop a game. So yeah, it has everything to do with microsoft firing them or not. He left 'cause mojang is an incompetent business. Or I am just looking to start an argument... That too...
How about we just agree that we don't know what happened, and not blindly bash microsoft/mojang on claims with no evidence?
0
I'm saying he either left or was fired for some silly reason by mojang, hence them being incompetent, which they have been for years (since 2011-2012). You were saying microsoft is gonna fire them off one-by-one in your earlier post, I'm telling you otherwise.
1
Nope, its mojang being incompetent as usual. "Hey jeb, we should really fix these bugs, the game is getting really unstable!" "Naaaaah! Lets just add another rushed-in block that serves no real purpose and players won't care about in the slightest!"
1
FYI, in case you haven't noticed from my avatar, I'm also a fan of pokemon.
