Im running a simple Dell 2009 Inspiron with a High Speed Connection for Dell (Premium) and I now put the slots to 10 people on the server, but mobs still lag I think.
I just created a server, and already pretty active and Mob's are a wanted thing in the server. I enabled them, and everything went downhill with lag came into the picture, it serverly lags - can anyone help me out?
Hello to you for clicking on this thread! There is a new active server officially now up that is maintained by 3 people to make sure it is fair, and fun for everyone. A quick run down about our server;
1.0 - Introduction

This server is survival (not at the moment, until we build and get members) and we request that people play fair under the "survival" terms.
The server was created by Pariodix, whom it is hosted by and he is helped by Alenori and lolmonster114. I, Pariodix dedicate my server to new minecrafters, and experienced!

1.1 - Ideas, and future comings.
We are constructing new ideas for users, below are some ideas we are working on, or we have done (will be updated):
"Find the stash!" - We will place chests around the common part of the world, and further which will contain items that are valuable to you and make people "jealous". These chests will be full of diamond items and even rare items we call "rare" in our server as we do have items that people will not be able to get, only if they participate in something, or FIND it.

1.2 - Management, OP's and Moderators.
At the moment, we are looking to take a couple of moderators to help our 30-slot server - but, we don't have an application or you may not ask for it. We will be picking random players that are helping accordingly and accurately to the community, and stay dedicated so we know they didn't just join to be an OP and build what ever.
As a Management, most of us play fair - as myself, I don't abuse my powers for my own needs; meaning I dig for my items such as diamond and such to keep it fair to others; but I can't speak for other management.

2.0 - RESTRICTED/OUT OF AREA PARTS OF THE WORLD

Now, you may be thinking "This is stupid!" - Well, we create things in part of the world just for admins, mod's and also for events where you can win stuff when we get to it. You will notice these area's as they will be marked with signs to make sure you know that area is restricted. To keep our community in-line, and fair we will ban players that disobey our rules of restricted areas, and we also "trap" the areas so you will die - but if you constantly go back to that area to try to "sneak in" then you will be punished with a 30-day ban.
That's all I have for now, I plan to update it more. Below is the server information, and we invite you to our world! The server is always changing in good ways, and we plan to keep it that way!

What do I put in the permissions to allow the group "Moderators" be able to kick, and ban? I tried putting '/ban','ban','/kick','kick'
