Please see https://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/mcskin3d/ for any updates. For the most part, PMCSkin3D has replaced this.

Updating main post, please wait while I fix things.
1Hi guys.Posted in: Skins
I didn't expect this to happen, but, I've released a new update. Somebody above mentioned Techne models - this version fully supports .xml and .tcn models from Techne, by the way.
Check main post for details. Until then:

I'd recommend that you contact me so we can help you get that name reserved over to its rightful owner.
Thx to HanFox for calling me up. Thumbs up for MCF and PMC working together!
6Paril posted a message on Mojang Needs Your Input - The New Multiplayer FormatPeople, there's a difference between a local server and a listen server.Posted in: Minecraft News
You can create a socket without having it accept external connections - in no way does it say that making an SSP world will let others in your server. You're reading something that isn't there.
8Paril posted a message on Mojang Needs Your Input - The New Multiplayer FormatAll of you complaining have _no_ idea what this is actually doing.Posted in: Minecraft News
1) For those of you saying this makes modding worse: wrong. This makes modding -easier-. By separating server logic, mods will only have to edit the server portion for mods to automatically work in single-player.
2) Single player is not "gone", it's simply a local server now. This is NOT a new thing - almost every game being made today does this already.
3) This means that there's no longer SSP vs SMP differences because they'll be the exact same thing.
4) It doesn't mean that it "needs internet" to play SSP. SSP will still be as single-player as it ever was.
Please, for the love of God, do some research before you start saying that this is going to hurt anything.

I wish I could help you update this, but I'm a little bit too invested in doing PureBDcraft textures for addons to be able to learn a style that may be a bit above my artistic level
I hope you get some help

Guys, Dr K has released an official update for 1.4.7 on Planet Minecraft!
Just go here
That's not me. If I were to update it, I would post it here. If you guys are interested, I've been talking with a few people about having a community effort to keep this pack up to date.
Thread here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1670857-bordercraft-continuation-official-continuation-talks/
If you're interested in contributing to the pack, please comment! You could make 1 texture or a quadrillion! Every little bit would help.
If enough people are interested, I'll release my source files to make it easier to make new textures. I also have a few new textures that haven't been released.
1I think it'd be cool if you added a shortcut for the dropper tool, something like Alt or CtrlPosted in: Skins
Another thing that sort of bothers me is when you start a new project, the skin is filled in completely white and you can't see the outline which is also white, maybe you could change one or the other to a darker color so it's visible?
and also, I don't know if it's my computer or what, but if I go to make the resolution better and try to fill it in black, it crashes the program... (Not really a big problem because the brushes still work fine for filling it in, just thought I'd throw that one out there)
Other then those three little things I love it ^.^ I have a feeling this will be the program will be a big deal for skinners (:
and from a video I watched you said something about in the future allowing us to create textures? I think I saw a few things like chest and signs in the program which leads me to believe I heard correctly, but that'd be Awesome because I'm working on a texture pack and I find it annoying going back and forth between playing the game and editing the texture around to look perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing where this heads!

That's coming in a later update. 1.5 perhaps, I'm not sure.Quote from CoranTheMiner
Hey, I was wondering if you create the same kind of program (Or know of one) That is basically this, but to change the texture pack blocks?

I've never done that so I don't know what it does. You'd still use your username to upload, though.
- Generally this is a video card issue. In 1.3 there was a bug with the depth buffer, but that was fixed in 1.4. I would update your drivers.
- The drag/drop does let you drag between folders. We did quite a lot of testing on this, but, if you can find a reproducible method of if not working let me know.
- I'll look into this one. Might have been an oversight. If this is indeed a bug it should be fixed in the next minor release. EDIT: Verified. This is indeed a bug. Fixing it now.
1.4 includes a "Browse To" option. Simply right-click on the skin and click on Browse to Skin.
you see, i checked remember me, then i migrated to Mojang, that uses your e-mail to log in instead of your username (User name does`nt work). so i need to change it..
1Quite a lovely piece of software. Works wonderfully for exactly what I wanted. Only annoyance is how I can't adjust settings for the tools. Such as the noise one, I can't have any sort of range of noise or threshold. I'd like to have that. :cPosted in: Skins
1Hey there!Posted in: Skins
I'm not sure if this has been suggested or not, had a look at the FAQ and digged around in your program. (which is awsum) Anyway, have you ever considered adding a selection tool into your program? Allowing users to work with-in a certain space, use a fill tool in an marked out area and even copying over whole pieces from one skin to another.
Anyway, if it has been suggested, sorry!
1Very sharp. I just came back into minecraft after several months. Had to take a break for school lol. I like this much more than MCSkinEdit and I have barely touched the surface of this new program.Posted in: Skins
Thank you, and all others involved, for providing us with a program like this to use. =)
