posted a message on Why are there no walls* or vertical slabs?

They exist in a number of modpacks in a variety of thicknesses, so I guess it's just that the programmers didn't think they were necessary, or were a lower priority than other things.

Also they'd be awkward for determining floor space

posted a message on Minecraft Java Edition vs Minecraft Bedrock Edition

I like Microsoft Edition because it's easier to play with friends on a private map, and it doesn't cause my CPU to spontaneously combust.

I like Java Edition because of free mods, player made maps, public servers, lots of items that haven't made the transition, it doesn't try to sell me things, the GUI is less sterile and restricted, I'm more used to it's shortcuts and submenus, etc etc

I know it's the populist answer, butI don't care. My favourite is still Hatsune Miku

Mine is IA just cuz she's boss. How about u?

I saw IA at a convention... Well, I say "saw" I mean "heard" because idiots were standing on chairs, and were blocking not only the stage, but the large screens for people who couldn't see the stage :-/

If I had a chance at immortality, I'd turn it down. Sure, immortality would be fun at first; you could launch yourself off buildings and swim to the depths of the ocean that no mortal human could reach. However, it would all pass quickly. I'd be forced to watch loved ones die, and eventually humanity itself. Even when the universe ends, or even the multiverse, should that time come, I'd be the only one that remains. Floating in an infinite limbo blacker than the voids of space. I'd be forced to remain for all eternity, my regret of accepting immortality growing with every passing day.

Presumably the people who gifted you with immortality also have it themselves. And I doubt we'd be the only recipient...

In a heartbeat. Just let me get a couple of bits of corrective surgery before I become impervious to scalpels ;)

I'd spend the first few years entirely selfishly. Hanging out with friends, going to festivals and concerts, travelling the world, doing all the dangerous and scary stuff I avoid now. After that, I'd have a go at vigilantism/superheroing. And when I was bored of that I'd try to interfere for the better in politics. Firstly local, then national, then international.

Once everyone I've ever cared about is dead, I'd volunteer for helping with the space programme. My ability to not die would be invaluable during testing. And in the extremely long term I'd probably end up the one constant crewmember in a generation ship to the next star over.

yeah that is what you have to do. What do u mean with " spoiler block "? what block is this supposed to be? If you have any other question or doubt, please ask me !

A "spoiler block" is a forum thing, not a Minecraft thing. Dont worry about it.

My question is: what sort of answer are the puzzle looking for? A word, a number, the name of a Minecraft block?
I thought the answer to the first puzzle was "101" but it does not work when I rename an answer paper and throw it at the clay block

Did you read the book? :( you must rename the "Answer" paper with the anvil with the answer you are thinking off

Yes. That's what I was doing with all the answers I suggested in the spoiler block. I was taking a peice of paper named "answer", renaming it with the word I thought was the solution, and throwing it at the clay block

I'm very thankful that you caught this issue and I went and fixed it immediately! Sorry for the inconvenience!

No worries. Seems to be working fine now.

The challenges are fairly straight forward (once I'd remembered some recipes had changed since I'd last played XD ) but it was fun working out what I was looking for to get the ingredients I needed.:)

posted a message on [PUZZLE][1.8.X] ■ Code 19 ■ Could you complete it?

Looking for help with the first puzzle. No single answer stands out from the possible:

I noticed the paper in the chest was laid out like the number 101, so I tried "101" as the answer. The clay rejects my answer.
The room and the rotating banner look like a clock, so I tried "clock". Nope.
The lamp without a button is at the six position if the room is a clock, but "six" doesn't work or "6".
The rotating banner is like a safe's dial, so I tried "safe" and "combination". Still nothing.
I don't know what type of answer is expected. A word? A number? A Minecraft item name??

Awesome. Thanks. That's solved one issue!

I've now downloaded it again, and spawn works fine, but when I enter the first level, left click doesn't work properly. Even for the item I need to break to complete the level. What am I doing wrong this time?
