Entry 8:
Caving:
I packed up my supplies and headed into the depths of the cave covered by bushes. I was immediately greeted by a very promising sight. The cave simply dropped down, meaning it could go very deep, possibly to diamond levels. Despite this, it carried with it a very ominous feeling...
At the bottom of the drop off there were several tunnels leading off in other directions, and of course, another terrifying pitfall. Then the residents of the caves picked that moment attacked me. Creepers, zombies, spiders and skeletons rushed of the tunnels one by one. The first zombie was no problem, but spiders and skellies came next. I was knocked down into the pitfall followed by my attackers. Even a creeper decided to join the pit party. After the initial chaos ended, only the two skeletons were left, and they had turned on each other. Such betrayal! One finally killed the other, and I finished off the victor. Thus ended the battle of the pit, and I clamored out pretty banged up.
After exploring the tunnels, which must are somewhere around level 12, I found these two. They make a nice couple don't you think?
Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha! You fools! Love never lasts down here in the deep!
My loot. No diamonds though. By the way, the internet was being weird, so I was forced to be Alex for the day.
After a creeper attempted to take my life on my porch, I headed down to the other unexplored cave. Inside, I was quickly beset by the most vicious band of creepers and zombies I had ever encountered in the same area. I concluded that mining there was going to be difficult. I collected a bit of coal and iron then I bravely turned my tail and fled.

There are two very good sites out there that can help with curves. Here's one that does circles and ovals of any size:
https://donatstudios.com/PixelCircleGenerator
And here's one that does spheres, domes, cones, bezier curves, and the option for either solid or hollow shapes:

And, as (almost) always, try to make things look realistic. Study the caves in Minecraft and real life, see what they look like, and try to re-create them. Add your own touch, not everything has to be super-real unless that's what you're really going for.
Here's a pic of a rounded thing that I made a while back. (Before I found these sites. Not like they would have helped with something of that shape anyway...)

The amount of detail in this build is amazing. Please continue to build it!

Sounds fun! I might have to convince some of my friends to play multiplayer with me...

I logged out of Minecraft at beta base camp after a few tries. When I logged back in, it no longer kills me when I hit the ground, and I can't change to creative. Is there anything I can do?

1.4.7. I remember being so happy that they added quartz, because sandstone wasn't white enough for my builds to be perfect.

I really like it. If Mojang found this and put this in the game, it would certainly change things, possibly for the better. I don't know if I would use it that much, though.

Found a glitch! in the first level with the black wool, I think I stood too close to the place where I was supposed to put it and Minecraft glitched and got rid of the black wool because it thought I was IN the hole. Sadly, I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.
