Justa suggestion, to make it more OoT-ish: Eyes of Truth. If nothing else, offer an alternate skin of, perhaps, the mask of truth? Or the lens itself. All I know is that the goggles don't look Zelda enough for me and the purple shade over your eyes doesnt include the large transparent hole.
Right, I agree with out about the fact that it isn't so Zelda-ish.
But I don't think making the lens is feasible. In OOT when you were looking through the transparent part, you saw the truth. But on the purple part, the illusion was still there. The eyes of truth work by setting the texture of the blocks to something different and forcing a global update. I wouldn't know where to begin trying to make the block render a certain way on one part of the screen, but differently on another.
The mask of truth sounds like the best idea. I had completely forgotten about the mask of truth. That's probably what I would have done in the first place. I'll probably get rid of the purple overlay if I do that.
Hah, thats not what I meant, and I didnt even mean that. I just meant, quite literally, use the eraser tool in a circular shape to make a hole in the purple. I didnt even know it did that in OoT or MM.

I also got bob-ombs to work. I actually haven't unleashed my army of 8 bob-ombs and 20 parabuzzies on anything......yet. >:biggrin.gif:
EDIT: I just realized I have so many non-depspawning parabuzzies that no other hostile mobs can spawn. O_o'
EDIT 2: OK.....this is good, but weird. Whenever I let a hostile parabuzzy into my house he becomes friendly again, but he doesn't follow me. He also won't become hostile again, even if i attack him, in my house. This will make killing all of them off easier, but what the hell...?
EDIT 3: It took me a while, but i finally killed em all off. I also made quite alot of bob-ombs, but do they grief the crap out of things? Like, are the explosions like creepers, where they damage the world or are they grief-proof?
OK, but listen. Shy Guys in the platformer Mario games (like for instance, SMB2) are about as rare as the parabuzzies. I've played alot of Mario games and I must say i've seen alot more Shy Guys than I have parabuzzies. I really think they would fit in as much as any other Mario enemy in the Minecraft world.

Alright, if you're still new and can't do most of my suggestions, then could you at least do Shy Guys? They're just so awesome and wearing a shy guy mask would be awesome, even if it didn't make you invisible to mobs. I wouldn't think Boos would be easier than shy guys, just sayin'.

Anyway I have one more suggestion. Boos. When you look at them they turn invisible but when you look away they come after you. If you can get behind them then you can kill them. They drop things that heal you. Can be normal yellow coins, blue coins, or a mushroom if you're lucky.
OK, I found some. I killed one and took its shell (for later) and a but later i decided to try taming one. I gave him ab bunch of fish (i thought it would be just one but i was wrong) and then i automatically mounted him. At first I thought my ketboard disconnected or something, then I read the first post about shells in SM64 and realised it was supposed to do that.
Anyway, suggestion time. First off, I REALLY think that the shell as a helmet is a good idea. It gives multiple uses for the thing and it can't be hard to code. I also think it would look awesome. You kill a parabuzzy, and you're like, "Hmm, well, I dont have enough materials to make a bomb-omb so im just going to throw this thing away. Theres plenty around and I can't use it for anything else. Speaking of which, I should go kill a shitload of cows for leather to make armor as its almost night time."
Goombas....um, how about.....meh, I can think of nothing. I'll get back to you on that one.

SHY GUYS! :biggrin.gif: Multi colored, when they die they drop the cloth of their color and a shy guy mask which makes you not be seen by mobs. If you attack them they attack you back and every shy guy nearby attacks as well. If you give them porkchops they become friendly and attack mobs for you. They can still see you if you wear a shy guy mask.
Blarggs. Lava monsters. If you are around lava they will pop up and try to attack you. If you kill them you get a lava block to craft chanmail or some special drop you can think of if all custom drops is what you're going for.This big guy. More like the SMW version.
Magikoopas. Kill them and it drops their wand which shoots magic. You can use it as a weapon.
Pigits. They're like spider jockeys, their carpet has a separate health bar then the pigits themselves. Kill the pidgit and you can ride and fly the carpet, kill the carpet and the pidgit will attack you. Drops feathers or some custom drop.
Lakitus. Lakitus would fly around on clouds and drop either spinies or hostle parabuzzies, whatever. Like the pidgit, if you kill them you get their cloud to ride around on. The main difference between the two is that Lakitus are more common but are hostile by default and they throw spinies. Would drop spiny eggs which you could hatch like chicken eggs. The spinies from these eggs would be friendly to you.
