I'm on a iPad 3, and I reckon it will lag a bit still. It probably depends on all the other stuff you have on your iPod and how much space and things. It will probably crash every now and again on iPods.

This is true. As they add more features the game will become more RAM intensive... Let's all remember though; this game is a work in progress, and some experimenting will need to be done. The developers and the players will succeed and/or fail together as we piece together a masterpiece. XD

Please do not suggest features that are currently in another version of the game as these will likely be added at a later date. Use the Suggestions section for completely new ideas for the Minecraft collection of games.

    Thank you.

I've actually wondered this myself. I have an iPod 4g and an old Android running 2.3 Gingerbread. I'm a little worried about the lag that's likely to come, but I also know that Mojang has been reliable in the past. It might be a little rough, but I'm sure they can figure something out... I guess only time will tell. XD

posted a message on NEED FRIENDS for my 7 year old son :)
Unfortunately I don't have an Xbox at the moment, otherwise I'd play with him.

I just wanted to give you some advice, however. You see, here on the Interwebs you never know who you're talking to, and you never know who's going to see this post. My advice is to be with him whenever he adds people to make sure they're actually friendly and won't teach your son anything inappropriate. :)

Aside from that, I hope your son finds plenty of people to play with. Most of all, I hope he has fun! :)

What you're going to want to do is install iExplorer if you're on iOS: http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/

If you're on Android you should find a file manager such as this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metago.astro&hl=en

    Both are free.

    iOS instructions:
-Plug your iOS device into a computer, and open up iExplorer.
-Once iExplorer registers your device, you can access the files.
-Explore until you find the apps
-Click MinecraftPE>Documents>games>com.mojang>MinecraftWorlds>The map you want to share.
-Export the folder to your desktop
-Zip the chunks.dat, level.dat, and player.dat files found within the exported folder.

    Android instructions:
-Go to the file manager and navigate to the PE app.
-Follow the same path of files listed above (MinecraftPE>Documents etc.)
-Go into the folder for the world file you want to export
-Zip the chunks.dat, level.dat, and player.dat right there.
-Email the zipped folder to yourself.
-Go to your computer, open your email, and download the zipped file to your desktop.

    For both:
-Once you have the zipped file of your world, go to a file sharing site such as MediaFire: https://www.mediafire.com/
    -Create an account
    -Upload the zipped file
-Copy the download link to your clipboard and post it here.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! :)

posted a message on HELP! NO PAUSE BUTTON FOR MINECRAFT PE!
If you're on an Android tablet, the "Pause" button is the same as the "Back" button. It's the one on the bottom of the tablet that looks like a U-shaped arrow. I had the same issue when I got my Android phone a while back. :)

posted a message on Ink sacs?
On the PC version of Minecraft you get ink sacs from squids. As you can probably see while playing, they haven't been added to PE yet. They should be in an upcoming update, so just be on the lookout for that. :)

As EnderRulesMC said, there is no "Classic" version for iOS/Android. Pocket Edition is all there is if you're looking for true Minecraft. Otherwise there are plenty of knock-offs a quick Google search could help you find. ;)
