This subject has been discussed several times before. The Pocket Edition will be slightly different from PC in that it will have some unique features. On top of that, the PC version has very messy code with countless errors, so a conversion tool would probably explode. XD

Oct 4, 2014Unfortunately there isn't a simple way to convert the world over. See, Pocket Edition is coded in a different language than the PC version of Minecraft, and the world files are saved differently as well.Posted in: MCPE: Discussion
Now that doesn't mean it's impossible, but it would be very complicated. I used to use MCEdit on my PC to load the "chunks.dat" file from a PE world, then place that world in a PC world, and save it. From what I've heard though, MCEdit doesn't work well with the newer versions of PE.
So if you're really set on transferring your worlds, I'm sure there's a way, but I don't know if it would be worth the time it would take to figure out.
Oct 1, 2014Unfortunately, you can't reclaim worlds that have been deleted from your device.Posted in: MCPE: Discussion
However, if you want to edit something in the game, but don't want to lose your maps, you can export the maps to a computer before you edit your game. Then once you've edited it, you can move the map back to your device from your computer.
Now I haven't tinkered with maps for a while now, so I don't know if this is still how it's done, but for iOS I used iExplorer to extract map files from my iOS device. With Android I just used a file manager app, found the map files, and emailed them to myself.
Again, I'm not sure if that's still how it's done... Can anyone confirm this?

Aug 10, 2014Well I'm a little late, but...Posted in: MCX360: Suggestions
Please do not post wishlists. The suggestions section is for suggesting completely new ideas for the Minecraft collection, not features that are currently in other versions of the game.
Thank you, and thanks everyone for being aware of the rules.

Please do not suggest the implementation of mods in the PS3 version of Minecraft. Modifying games is against the Sony Terms of Service, and the addition of an option to turn mods on or off will not be added. 4J Studios is focusing on bringing Minecraft to consoles, not the most popular mods.

Question though: On the PC version for saffron city is it alright if I use Command Blocks to act as Teleporters in Sabrina's Gym?
Oh, of course. The tunnels are good for Pocket Edition, but if you're able to make the player actually teleport, that would be awesome!

Are there any cities that no one have taken? I would love to build one of great cities in Kanto.
Hey, that would be fantastic if you wanted to join! However, as Groudon said, we don't have the best track record as a team when it comes to following through on builds. I myself am guilty of that. I finished Saffron City, but after that I had trouble starting up new maps. So if you think you can not only start a map, but follow through and finish it, we'd love to have you help!
On a side note: I'm starting to feel the urge to build Indigo Plateau, but I don't want to make any promises. I'll ponder it a bit more, and if the desire to build stays with me long enough, I'll start the map. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up though, so for now let it be known that I'm tentatively considering starting on Indigo Plateau.

This is officially my favorite MCPE map ever!!! . But I have one question. Will you guys use the new larger world sizes coming in the next game update to combine the whole project into one enormous map?
I think that would be really cool! I suppose it's worth a shot. But we'd have to make a LOT more of the region to combine them all sensibly. XD

PAandW, I think you moved it to the wrong section. She stated in her post an "iPad", which doesn't quite mean PC.
Oh, I totally misread the post before that... Very sorry about that.
We'll move it back to the MCPE servers section then.
Jun 16, 2014No worries. I've moved it to the Servers section for you.Posted in: MCPE: Looking For
Good luck finding a nice server for your kids. You're a great mother!
(Fair warning though; these servers are for the PC version of Minecraft, not the mobile version. I'm not sure which versions of the game you have, so if you already have the PC version, great! Otherwise it's $26.95 at https://minecraft.net/ )
Just thought I'd give you the heads up!
Jun 16, 2014Wow, a new reply to this topic was a nice surprise in my email. XDPosted in: MCPE: Maps
And I didn't even think about the possibilities for 0.9.0! Infinite worlds could mean full on Kanto region!
I don't want to get ahead of myself because I always seem to struggle with following through on big projects, but we'll see if this can gain some traction again... I'll definitely stop by your streams when I can, Groudon. Just let me know when it's up!

... And this discussion is way off topic.
Anyways, here's the link to the original topic about poisoned apples: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/2365572-poisoned-apple/page__hl__ poisoned apple
