Pfff, my server is up 24/7 updated and all. Unless you're talking about bukkit which won't be 1.9 updated until 1.9 official is released.

I don't know if you use Bukkit or not, but on my server we recently got a plugin that disables both the Enderman ******** and Creeper damage. No more NPC griefing.
