Why call it a small update? Notch has a huge list of bugs to work on. If you look up Minecraft bugs on Minecraftwiki.net, it's a HUGE list of bugs. Some of those bugs I think have already been fixed tho. I wonder if all these bug fixes will reduce lag in Minecraft and maybe raise FPS a little at least?

I don't know exactly where to put this topic so I'm posting it here. Anyway, is there a way to save Minecraft to a disk or something so that if the computer gets wiped you can put the disc in to put back everything you've done on Minecraft instead of having to redownload it from the site and starting back over with no saves and all? My computer gets into trouble and has to be rebooted like every few months or so- wiping out everything excluding the stuff already installed into the computer when it was bought. I'd hate for my world to be gone forever- after all the hard work I've put into it. I went through this like a few times and I'm tired of starting over.

I think it would be good if Notch added wind to minecraft. It would be nice to see the trees flowing in the breeze and the sound of the wind. Also some thunderstorms should be severe. Severe thunderstorms would have more thunder and lightning than the normal thunder storms, heavy wind that could knock down some trees and drop hail. If you are outside during hail you'd take a half heart damage every few seconds or so. Also in area that snow, there should be some icecicles on the sides of stuff like landscape hangovers and buildings that have been built in snowy areas. What do you guys think of this?

I don't know if this is a similar problem or not, but I installed a Photo-realistic Texture Pack 256-bit and put in my texturepacks file on appdata/.minecraft. It stopped Minecraft from working, so I deleted it and Minecraft STILL won't work. I even tried a few times deleting Minecraft and and removing it from the computer overall by emptying the recycling bin, then reinstalling Minecraft, and STILL Minecraft won't work. That's about what all I know to try to get Minecraft working again.
