However, like everything else on the entire Minecraft Forum, my enthusiasm has waned.

Yeah, that's kind of how it is... Blah, I have a lot of my own stuff that is unrelated to minecraft that I am currently chapters deep in, so I dunno how excited I could even be about writing it

I am a high school student, about to enter college, and thus unreasonably busy. I'm starting to wean off the Minecraft buzz (it ebbs and flows, I'll be re-obsessed in a few months) but I am still pretty excited about this story.

    Why?

****, I have lots of ideas. I mean, LOTS of ideas. **** that'll blow yer minds, should you even care. I can easily take this story up past 30 or so Blocks, without even trying. That being said, I have been spectacularly uninspired for the past month or two regarding ANYthing, but especially the story. I've been sitting on a first draft of Block 4 since late January. I dunno, it's not so much that my creative juices have run out, I just don't get a sense that this story is being well-received enough to merit the ungodly task of editing and making-presentable my messy scribblings in my story-journal. This all being in addition to the fact that I have been being split in various directions with other (unpublished and unrelated) stories, poems, etc.

This isn't a plea for attention, and I'm pretty sure that this post will be frowned upon in the extreme by 99% of those who read it, but does anyone actually care about This Craft of Mine? Please, let me know (below) if you want more.

Goodness. I just realized that these chapters are... well... chapters.

    Interesting.

The red powder is redstone right?

I'm panicking (as usual) over possible connotations of the first bit :Sheep:
As to your question, I am trying to make a point of never speaking about This Craft of Mine outside of its text, so re-read it and decide for yerself :Notch:

The first flash back was a tad weird though. O_O

I KNOW. I can't put my finger on it, though... ****ing hell, this whole Block was so damn stressful to write with these exams coming up... I rushed it because I wanted to get it out before I dug myself into a hole to study

1/18/11 EDIT: Block 3 is now on this site! Scroll up, it's appended to the end of the original post.
No one has commented on Block 3... /angst
I'm particularly distressed because this was a weirder one...

I like this whole idea. Trains, to me, just provoke such evocative imagery that you pretty much are guaranteed to register some type of emotion with anyone reading it. Also, Jeso, I like yer bit, though it's a shame you aren't gonna use it (you still can, if you do make it be some random person)

I've transferred Block 3 from my journal to my computer, and have begun editing. This, unfortunately, may take a while; I kind of overstepped myself in some parts. :Sheep: Check out the new poll, in the meantime.

...is DUN! Now begins the monster: word-processing and editing. Ugh. Is anyone excited, at least? (and I really need to stop posting in my own thread...)

I wrote you a review on fanfiction.net and couldn't get much in on my iPod at the time, I find this story truly amazing, it's got great detail and the imagery it projects into my mind is quite exquisite.

Faris is a great character I relate to him alot, keep up the great work Oswald.

I bet you deleted that post and resubmitted it. :biggrin.gif:

Anyway, I voted 8 since, as I recall posting, it's a super detailed story. It's SO detailed that I end up going what? after reading. But besides that, it is good.

I absolutely did do that, haha. Now, could you give me an example of a scene that made you go "what" if it's not too much trouble to dig through it?
