I really want to keep using this resource pack, but I don't see a 1.10 version available. Are you going to update it to 1.10? Faithful doesn't have the same feel as this does.

There is an issue with shields. When I try to create a shield with a design on it from a banner, it only shows a white shield. This happens with any banner that I try.

You are doing a fantastic job! Keep up the great work! :D

    Amplified Parkour

This is a simple parkour map that is built in the style of parkour maps made in the earlier days of Minecraft. The only major difference is that the whole map was built in an amplified world. Diamonds are score. Your goal is simple, get to the end of the map.

This map is designed to be easily accessible to newcomers yet still have challenge to satisfy the parkour savvy.

If you feel so inclined, why don't you post your score to this forum post when you finish the map?

    Enjoy the map! :D

Awesome Map! I can't wait to see more maps by you! I loved the puzzles!

No problem, and the map btw, loved it, we need more like these, but try to add in a hint system, and next time, less sand puzzles >.< they get boring after a while... but other than that, the map was great. It had a balance of challenging and fun!

Also, some of the hints in the hoppers... some people might not understand all of them dude, like the younger kids out there might not know what ACME is or what it has to do with an anvil, sooo yeah :P

Thank you guys soo much! It means a lot to me that there are multiple people out there that enjoyed what I made and wants to see more. This is a HUGE inspiration for me to make more and I can't thank you enough. :D

Oh, and btw, I will start work on a sequel to this map as soon as I am done with a parkour map that I am working on. ;)

Yeah, went ahead and played it with 1.8.7, and everything seemed ok, but for future maps/forums, try to include a <SPECIFIC> mc version :3

Ok, thank you for your advice. :D

Can we get a more specific game version? Too much has changed in the different 1.8.x versions :/

Due to my computer being not so great, I am kind of forced to use Minecraft 1.8.1 with Optifine installed. If there are any other issues with v1.1 of the map, there might be a slight chance that versions could be an issue, though I'm not sure because the map seemed to work fine for me when I switched to 1.8.7. Thank you for your feedback though. :)

    What saplings?

There were supposed to be saplings given to you, but thanks to TheDrunkenArtist I found out that the map wasn't giving them to everyone. When I play tested the map it worked fine, but due to these set-backs, I have made a version 1.1 that redesigns the level in order to hopefully work properly. I am incredibly sorry for the inconvenience that this has given you, and I hope that you can enjoy the map as I originally intended. :D

Good map but needs some work. Having something to give the player some feedback in the actual map rather than a text document might be a bit better. Video is uploading now.

    Here is the video

Ok, thank so much for recording a video of this. For some reason, on the fourth puzzle the redstone failed to give you 4 saplings. I will make sure I fix this ASAP. I don't really know what happened, seeing as it works fine for me when I play the map. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience and I will make sure this gets fixed.

Oh, and about the text document, I previously designed the map to clear your inventory after every level so I can't add something like a hint book which is what I would want to do seeing as a hint button would be too tempting to just press at the start of every level.

Again, I am terribly sorry about this. I hope that you can forgive me. :)

Yeah, but some of those "minor" updates have screwed up other maps, such as the command blocks in dispensers dont work after 1.8.4, along with several other redstone-related stuff

I designed the map to be compatible with all versions of minecraft. I didn't incorporate anything redstone heavy like the things that you specify. The map works mostly by preset and preplaced command blocks. If it doesn't work with later versions of minecraft, please let me know what is wrong so I can fix it in later versions.

For anyone who was having any difficulty completing a puzzle previously, I have added a .txt file download that gives a hint to the solution of each puzzle. If there are any more issues that anyone finds in the map and / or someone needs help, please don't hesitate to leave a comment. :D

Unless there's something else to cook with, even a charcoal, 3 planks are the remains of the first one isn't enough to cook 13. All I did was reset, take the parts, throw the iron on the floor, reset, pick it up, press the items button, and get the last iron block, which is enough iron if you smelt.

    Level 4.

I went into creative mode, and tried to figure it out... It's a bit of a stretch.

ACME was a nice clue. I googled it, and would have got it... But...

The idea of making the anvil is very nice, but I wasn't able to smelt all of the iron to do it. Is it actually possible?

I still really like the map. It's very well made.

    Thank you.

    :)

It is possible to smelt all of the iron with the materials given. You need to make sure that you DON'T craft down the logs that I give you. Coal isn't the only fuel for a furnace, and the saplings aren't red herrings.

maybe put a sign with a hint on what to do for that level. I was going to record for my channel but got stuck there

Ok, I'll see what I can do to make that level a bit easier to understand. Oh, and btw, if you do end up recording my map, it would be awesome if you could send me a link to your video. I would like to see what people think about my map via a video.

I cant seem to get past level 3, there are no instructions

As I'm looking at the discussion about the map, I am thinking of adding a hint.txt file to the zip folder. I designed the map to clear your inventory after some of the levels so adding a hint book is out of the question unless I write a really long command in a command block which I don't think I would like to actually do.

Thank you to all of the really great feed-back though. I appreciate all of the positive responses I am getting.

Loved your map! Pretty challenging and would definitely play a sequel to this map/ another map you might make in the future?

I am currently in the works of making a parkour map, and once I'm done with it, I would have no problem making a sequel. This map was a blast to make and I'm happy that other people such as yourself liked it. Thank you for your kind thoughts and support. :D

Although, I can't get past the code level. 1105? ACME?

ACME = Loony Toons (Specifically Road Runner) ; 1105 = what you need to do w/ the paper
