Personality: My character is a fellow with a rather stoic personality as he rarely smiles to other people to give comfort as does he rarely smile about his own accomplishments. His true smile comes from when something great or kind is done. Other than that he is very observant and prefers to watch first, shoot later.

Back Story (Any back story's that involve: Being Ex-Enclave, Ex-BoS,
giving your self PA training ,or giving you items and/or perks will be
automatically denied): Xhalth was born to a pair of merchant lovers who lead caravans across the wasteland. Throughout his younger years he traveled with them seeing many new places and things. He also learned the methods of caravan trading but it did little without any kind of goods and so he continued with his parents until he was seventeen. When he hit seventeen his parents were wealthy enough to afford some more complicated, yet not high level math and English books. It lasted for a good year in which he had the ability to learn well before it went bad when the caravan was attacked by looters. Very quickly it erupted into chaos as bullets flew over head and his parents were shot dead and in pure fear he ran. Where he was running to he didn't know, he just wanted to escape.
Several days later Xhalth crawls back to the ruined caravan in rags after struggling to survive in the wasteland off of people or the land itself. Tears came to his eyes quickly and for several hours he did nothing but bawl over their deaths. After recovering finally he scavenged the ruined caravan and found nothing but scraps to eat so he once more took off and didn't look back out of sorrow. He was, however, set on achieving something great for his parents whether it was creating a safehaven or supplying the people of the lands food and water. And that, is where the story begins...

What is your past experience in RP, Fallout or otherwise?:[/b] I have consistently tried to search for a good fallout server to roleplay on however time after time, server after server, they all fail due to either money or lack of interesting features. I've roleplayed on many fallout servers from scribe to old man to a young man looking to make a living to a bandit.

Appearance:[/b] He is a gruff looking man with a red and black robe. His hair is black with streaks of grey despite being so young and he has brown eyes. He is 6'2" weighing 170 pounds with a lean body build. His facial features are actually quite young despite the grey streaks in his hair. His robe came from wandering the wastelands and he has kept it since as it has provided excellent protection against the weathers.
Personality: [/b]Xhalth rarely has a smile on his face. It is not because he is cruel or isn't sympathetic, but it is due to his belief that false happiness or hope shouldn't be given to make others happy. Perhaps due to his times wandering this has come but no matter he is still a kind man who takes care of people when he can while fighting those who try to do harm. He always tries to find weapons to deal with threats but one of his interests is books or knowledge because to him that is what can make the world better, or worse.
Backstory:
[/b]Xhalth was born in Modoc, CA. It was one of the quieter towns in the lands that were filled with chaos with good farming and a water supply going on for it. Xhalth was born in a hunter's family who went out daily to hunt beasts both for food and to keep the village safe. When he was old enough he started to tag along with his father, learning how to hunt the beasts quietly and swiftly. On his off time he would return to the village to help with clothing, cutting the meet, cooking it, and so on with the very special occasion of meeting the elder woman of the town who taught him the very basics of reading. It was a life he was content with day in and out as he always felt he was playing a big part in keeping the town well.
In his teen years problems started to occur however. The village's well was drying up and there were more reported sights of bandits on the outskirts of the town. The people were starting to become scared so Xhalth's father and Xhalth himself went out to the outskirts of town. Xhalth knew what his father was going to do and was following in sheer awe but also fear. Fear for his father, his safety, and for the town. And his worst fears came true as bullets whizzed out of the wastelands striking his father dead. Fear took over and Xhalth ran for his life yelling for help as tears streamed down his face. When he reached town all that came out was the babbling and tears of someone in shock. The situation continued to grow worse as bullets started flying into the town and chaos erupted. The old woman who had taught him grabbed him by the arm and dragged Xhalth to her home where she gave him several cloths, food, water, and a small machete before telling him to run. Now obviously this was a shock to Xhalth as he had always known the village to be strong with people to defend it so all he could think of the situation was that things were worse than they appeared. Perhaps many of the men defending the village had already died and the women were simply keeping it hushed up? Nevertheless he ran into the forsaken wasteland leaving the screams and cries of villagers behind.
For years Xhalth struggled to survive with begging, hiding, and running for his life. His machete rarely did good against pistols or rifles so he was always being chased. During the summer days of one year though he came across an abandoned, tattered wagon off the side of the road. He was weak after going for yet another few days without food and water. Crawling underneath it to check out its goods he found, to his awe, water, cans of food, and a 9mm pistol with a clip! Emotions swelled as he was able to eat again and had a way of defending himself before he crawled back out. A shiny glint caught his eye just as he was about to leave and in curiosity he looked to see a poster of the Big Apple, or New York. Its description held his attention and with new ambition surging within to be rid of starvation, being poor, and his other problems he set out to New York! He was going to make a change.

3:18 P.M.Location: 27 miles South of Seattle.As you're walking north along a desolate highway to a few hundred meters ahead you can see 2 large black birds circling in the sky, to the east a few miles off large thunderheads can be seen. Hopeful to avoid the storm you begin to walk a bit more briskly scanning your area to find shelter from the rain. You observe a small light grey smoke plume coming from the median of the highway only a couple hundred meters away. Before approaching the scene you take a quick look in your bag (below is a list of your items). As you approach the scene you can see that it is a Emerald Trading Company Caravan that has been hit, the merchant lies dead near a slaughtered Brahman blood covers his clothing and a box of items is scattered near him. Of the two guards, one lies near a jersey barrier; empty shell casings from the cowboy repeater are scattered around the body. The other guard is struggling to pull himself upright using the one of the carts wheels, his leg has been blown off below the shin and is now nothing but a bloody mix of singed skin and asphalt.Bag contents: 1x 10mm Pistol 7x 10mm Pistol rounds 1x bottle of dirty water 2x mentants 1x salisbury steak 1x Squirrel on a stick 1x small radio (working) 1x stimpak 1x Half-used first aid kit (missing supplies)What do you do?:
As Artemis approaches the wreckage with caution he pulls out his 10mm pistol and points it towards the guard. The wounded guard looks up and panics shouting, "Don't shoot!"
Artemis: What happened here?
The guard slumps up against the wagon before speaking hoarsely.
Guard: We were hit by raiders. They took us down with ease and took what they could before running off...
Artemis thought for a moment and the smoke was indeed noticeable from a distance away. It was no wonder the bandits couldn't gather up everything. Lowering his gun he would begin to walk towards the box containing valuables, the guard sighing in relief that he wasn't shot.
Artemis: Where was caravan headed?
Guard replies hoarsely again from the pain: Seattle. We just finished a trip to an outlining town for supplies; trading guns with them for food and stimpacks.
The guard wheezes before asking, "Who are you?"
Artemis searches through the box to find two stimpacks, a bottle of purified water, and a hunting rifle with 10 .308 rounds. It was quite a big load which surprised him greatly. Turning his head back to the guard he asks with his gun still pointing towards the gound, "Will you make it?"
Guard nods and weakly points at one of the stimpacks, "Y-Yes. I just need a stimpack and some cloth to wrap this up."
Frowning, Artemis raises his gun towards the guard's chest and says, "That costs too much."
Guard shouts as he falls to the ground panicked, "WAIT! WAIT!"
Without regard though Artemis lowers his gun to the guard writhing in fear on the ground and fires. Once. Twice. Thrice. Each time the guard let out agonizing gurgle but on the third time it died out. Shaking his head he looks up at the stormclouds. He can't stay there or else he may be caught so with that Artemis pulls out the supplies from the box and walks on. He would have to bear through the storm to find shelter somewhere else.
Character biography (At LEAST 2 paragraphs):
Artemis Dam was born in 2269 in a bandit hideout. Both his mother and father were scoundrels who took with bandit groups to gain their wealth. Oddly enough though they did not want their child, Artemis, to go down the same path. They wanted him to be smart and get a normal life. Their reasoning was that if they could, they would as well. However their deeds would not allow them. He was twelve when he started to make his own decisions.
His mother and father had a few books for their son from their adventures. They were always out but when he received his books, his mother started staying home more to teach them to him. He learned from quite a few books but it just wasn't his thing he said. Listening to his mother's tales of adventure as well as from other bandits of explosions, ambushes, and so on, he was more excited for fighting rather than doing some dumb over-the-counter job. Of course he didn't hate learning; he would rather just do something more exciting.
When he was sixteen he was given his first gun. A 9mm pistol. One of the bandits there decided that if he could shoot, he could assist them in combat as well as identify some of the equipment there. He shot it for only a few days before his mother and father came home. They were both bloody and immediately shouted at him to get to the secret exit and that the Brotherhood of Steel was coming. Before he knew it he was hearing gunshots and lasers firing into and from the hideout. Shouts of fighting erupted and he began to hear screams of pain as he ran towards the secret exit. When he got there he saw bandits using it to escape as others were holding the front line. He made it out safe and ran to the nearest town in his scrappy clothing. Unfortunately he never heard from his mother and father again so from there on out, he was on his own.
For the next five years he would spend rummaging about towns, trying to gather odds and ends to survive. His whole purpose was just to survive however in 2290 he saw several bandits on the outskirts looting a caravan that they burned. It clicked to him then that he did not have to go rummaging about towns not stealing, killing, or injuring anyone. He could be like his mother and father who didn't have to rummage and were fed plenty! Thus Artemis stood with a purpose and a goal in mind as he walked out of the town. The ends always justify the means…

Kings: There can be up to two Kings leading the Spartan Society at any given time. They act as figurehead, lead armies, and often give a general overview of what needs to be done for the officers.
Polemarch: The one who commands armies to attack, defend, build forts, and so on. These men are mostly assigned large objectives such as conquering a world (Server) for the glory of the Spartan Society.
Lochagos: This officer acts as a secondary commander. When the Polemarch or King isn't around, the Lochagos takes over to get work done. If the Polemarch is there, the Lochagos can often lead attacks on enemy settlements.
Pentekoster: This officer often acts when the Lochagos nor the Polemarch is around but has given an assignment. He often completes objectives that need doing by rallying up Spartans. They often focus on smaller sections in an assignment given to Lochagos. Should a Lochagos fall during battle, the Pentekoster takes control of the situation.
Spartan Ranks
Spartiate: An elite soldier in the Spartan Society. His fighting abilities exceed most while being able to complete other tasks skillfully and fast.
Hoplite: A warrior who has good fighting abilities. When assigned other tasks, he can complete them at a fair rate.
When you enter, you will receive NO rank. You shall be tested before receiving any status.
You won't have say in war (you can fight in it but you will have no say in our attacks or military moves) and politics however.
