I highly recommend a castle. I've made one in every world so far, & they always look awesome Plus, there are so many options that you can always make yours unique. Mt usual design looks like this:

I'm talking creepers, squid, endermen, ghasts, blazes, wolves, everything. Except for villagers. Each would have their own perks and powerups and stuff, and some just used for brewing and eating.
Right now, the only passive mobs that don't drop meat are sheep & squid. Mutton & calamari would be nice. I think every mob should have the option to drop 2 different items. Pigs only drop meat, & no one seems to care, because they were the only meat source for so long. But what else would they drop?
Wolves are neutral, but why would you want to kill them? Everyone says pelts, but I'm sure it wouldn't give much more protection than leather.

Jeb has confirmed you cant see a jungle biome in 1.1 or earlier worlds, ive never seen an npc village in my 1.7.3 world, and ive been EVERYWHERE...
I had that same problem. Even areas I hadn't uncovered yet, no villages. You have to start a new world. That's when I started my current world, & I found some right away. It sucks, I know.
Jan 22, 2012I got a good one for you that I've been thinking about for a while: Palm Trees. Beach biome. They can be on larger areas of sand on shores, or little islands on sand. Some can even have volcanoes, you already have lava in the game, right?Posted in: Suggestions
The palm trees can look like this:
Have mercy, I made that in five minutes.
The wood can be a lighter brown with horizontal lines, with a more tropical look, that would look pretty as decoration too. When chopped down, the leaves can drop coconuts instead of apples, which can be used as food, or crafted with a bucket to get milk, instead of chasing down cows.
I haven't thought of any other stuff yet, but what do you think?
Jan 22, 2012I do actually agree with you. As soon as I found out, I told my bf that it's sucks, because it's means I'll have to start off a new world. The one I have right now is MASSIVE, & I've even been able to keep it relatively square (ocd). I would have to go insanely far to open up new areas, & they'd be so far that I'd never go in them. I have collected so much, & spent so much time making a huge castle for my base, I don't want to have to start over again. Sure, starting off a new world is exciting, but it's not much compared to the trouble I went through for this one.Posted in: Survival Mode
These kind of up dates almost make me not want to play my current world, because at this point it's like "What's the point?" if I'm going to start all over again.

Baby tamable enderdragons from dragon eggs :tongue.gif:
Yeah, that's another thing- They make that egg when they die, so why can't it hatch after a while? I understand not too soon, because then you could just stay there & farm xp. But maybe after a certain amount of days.
Otherwise he's all alone, watching Youtube cat videos in his mommy dragon's basement.
Jan 9, 2012I had fun kicking the dragon's ass the first time, so when I found another strong hold, I thought "Oh good, I can make a portal & do it again". But when I went, it was the same End, with all the towers extinguished, no dragon, & all the Endermen REALLY pissed off & attacking. The portal I made when i killed the dragon was there too.Posted in: Survival Mode
Is there any way I get to fight the dragon again?

The other day I was cutting down wood at night and there was a creeper on a hill close by. I created a house underground and made my entrance look like some sort of well. As I went down my trapdoor the creeper spotted me only I forgot about it. When I went out in the morning, I looked around and right in front of me the creeper jumped up and naturally you scream, luckily it exploded away from my house.
What has been your SCARIEST encounter with a creeper.
Exploring a cave, game lagged for half a second, & I ended up falling into a pit with 3 of them. That was before I started investing in good armor, so of course I died.
Jan 1, 2012Even worse- It has to be in Soulsand, in the Nether, with you close by. I made a little farm where I can go afk or kill zombie pigmen for exp while waiting. It yields like wheat- where if you pick it before fully grown it only gives you back the one you planted. If you wait until its third stage, where it looks like several red phalluses with little white spots, then it'll give you something like 1-5.Posted in: Survival Mode

Is that a GoT reference I see? :wink.gif:
Yep. I can give you a huge spoiler if you want.

I almost always make fountains with stone slabs but, it's getting old. For your fountain perhaps you should use lava? A dainty ornate fountain in what appears to be a fortress seems out of place. With lava the nether brick would fit in nicely also you should make it more demonic looking by using nether brick stairs and slabs to make devil horn like structures on it. That's what I'd do.
Yeah... lava's not a good idea. Half my floor is Netherrack. Lava tends to make little sparks, which will catch all that Netherrack on fire, spread, then possibly go to my home, which occupies the 7 stories under that floor.
