I actually agree with you. I feel bad killing them too. A few maps ago I tamed so many dogs that the world wouldn't spawn any wild animals. I knew killing them would fix the problem, but I couldn't do it, so I had my bf do it. I'm the same with movies- I can watch countless people getting killed, but one animal dies & it bugs the crap out of me (Game of Thrones kills a lot of horses). I know it's not real, but it stills stirs up those emotions. Hell, there's a scene in Jurassic Park II that bugs me because the T-Rex eats the kids dog. You're just not a cold-hearted ******* like so many others.
For me it was the compass. I had to make giant dirt arrows pointing the way home or leave trails of torches everytime I explored. It was horrible! I ALWAYS have one in my inventory now.
The fact that I need to fill in every hole the damn creepers make. Even if there are other creatures around.
I cant stand that god damn hole! I dont care if I have a legion of zombies after me, that hole needs to be refilled!
And that usually ends up with me dead...
Ditto. & my ocd forces me to make sure to use the exact same blocks, which is even more time consuming.
Mine do that too. I have 8 smaller houses for them, but they all want to squeeze into 3-4. It's hilarious when they try to come out in the morning, because they all keep opening & closing the door at the same time.
I have different artificial biomes set up for every area of my village, one of which is all swamp trees with vines, & mushrooms both normal & giant. I just tried expanding the area, but now it won't let me place mushrooms. It says on the wiki tht they have to be a low light level, but then how the hell am I supposed to make giant ones? For some reason it lets me put them in the upstairs of my house, which is high up, surrounded by glass, with a glowstone ceiling. Translation- really freakin bright. It also doesn't let me place new mushrooms under the same trees & giant shrooms that there are other ones already growing at, which wouldn't be there anymore if the light level was too high, right? The biome I'm adding to was built at least 2 updates ago, if you're wondering how I got them all there.
If you can help clarify any of this, please do. I'm extremely frustrated at this point.
Yeah, your little whole wasn't big enough width-wise for a small one, because the branches take up a lot of space. The game just improvised. You can make sure it only makes small trees by making a psuedo "ceiling" over the sapling before you use bonemeal, (about 10 blocks maybe), & providing a lot of horizontal space.
Frankly, I thought it was awesome. It jumped around a bit, I'm sure to catch up on what's happenning with each story. It's probably going to be a bit confusing to anyone who hadn't read the books. I guess I'm ok with the guy they got to play Sir Dontos, I just never invisioned him being so fat when I read the book. I also can't wait to see Brienne. I saw a pic of the actress on imdb & she's perfect.
To anyone who likes the show but hasn't read the books, it's ok if you don't understand. I'd still like to know what you think too!
That is not true. If you want more nether wart or melons, it's good. I would say around 40-45. But if you want lower levels of them, 30-35.
Yeah, & he's wrong about the pick axe too- Fortune on a diamond pick is awesome because it works when mining, say it together, MORE DIAMONDS! It works well anytime you're mining ore that doesn't involve smelting, like diamonds, redstone, & lapis. I get 2-3 diamonds sometimes with fortune.
I highly recommend the "Better Enchanting" mod. You get to see exactly how many levels you need to get the combo you want, without wasting all your time leveling, then get something pointless.
I'm making a machine that I need to have 3 pistons side-by-side all push at same time. I want to be able to activate all 3 with one switch. It works for 2, with a space in between them (see below)
But when I put the third in the middle, the redstone line turns into this=
Is there some way I can set it up to work? It seems so simple & stupid, but I just can't figure it out. Please Help!

Yeah, I'd agree with that one big-time now. I just started playing the 360 version too, & I forgot how horrible it was before.
