Okay, I see now. I'm not trying to sound mean I just want facts, sorry for coming across so stern. That's very true, I think this could be a very useful service and I wish you the best with it. If you ever need any help with anything please let me know!
Will do, thank you for the questions and please feel welcome to use the service for personal/commercial purposes!
If you're not using CloudFlare, then how in the world would you be doing this for free, legitimately? Even for a beta test, the amount of equipment needed to mitigate 480Gbps would be extremely expensive. It's not hard to go and buy an OVH server and run a bunch of proxies off of it I'm not trying to target you, I just want facts and the proof, as anyone should. Just not a lot of information provided... and some things do not make sense here.
Your domain resolves to an OVH IP address, which leads me to believe you are just running a proxy off an OVH server. Anyone can do this.
If it's free, cool. I think this service could be useful to many people, if it works.
Yes you are correct it is a reverse proxy and we do use OVH.
What is critical here is the Layer 7 protection which CloudFlare does not have for less than $200/Mo
I am assuming Online_Services is perhaps making use of a dedicated server or a colocated machine he already is paying for and utilizing the transit of whatever datacenter it is in. This is the only way I can think that it could be run for free. Sure, this may not be optimal in comparison to CloudFlare's global network for that $200/Month fee, but I mean, how much can you complain if you're getting it for free?
It'd be interesting to hear more about what runs beneath the service and see it put to the test sometime.
It is constantly being put to the test and survives every one of them.
Yes I run a large cluster of servers, it is only free to the first users.
Out of curiosity, if it's free how can you afford the costs of transit to support such an operation?
It is only free for our first users while for the beta launch, once we go live with the full version you will have to pay if you haven't participated in the beta.
Interesting idea, however a Whois lookup displayed that your nameservers are set to Cloudflare's own Lisa and Mark. Are you running this service in co-operation somehow with Cloudflare/utilizing their API or developer services, or was that something you're just yet to change to your own nameservers?
Thanks. :-)
I no longer use their web servers. I use to be a user of CloudFlare then I realized all the problems, and the only thing they would offer is a $200/mo fee. I didn't want to pay that much so I just made my own service.
OK, Then, After trying the service I am happy to say everything is working good. I have no complaints at all. Get you r protection from these guys Immediately!,
Thank you so much for the vouch sir!
Enjoy the DDoS protection, and good luck with your server!

Being a MC server owner myself I know that is absolutely not true.
Also this is for websites.

Hey,
I would be willing to host your server for free on a 1Gb/s i7 dedicated server with over 480Gb/s of DDOS protection.

Hello everyone,
Today I will be releasing a free service which is http://nalsec.com
This service acts as a reverse proxy similar to CloudFlare, although we have advanced layer 7 and layer 4 protection in place.
We feature a custom WAF and browster integrity checks.
This service will ACTUALLY stop layer 7 attacks, unlike CloudFlare.
Most importantly, this service will be free!
I have already coded the software, you can view a live demo @ http://nalsec.com
I can manually set you up with the DDOS protection for now just post in the thread or PM me.
I am coding the front end right now so you will be able to setup the ddos protection for your website yourself.
