I've been playing Minecraft since late alpha/early beta.
I've been putting a lot of effort into making a let's play series, I really enjoy making videos, and recording gives me an incentive to build interesting and cool things, and also enjoy the game more.
My videos are all HD, and my microphone quality is good, what I'm trying to say is that my videos are relatively easy on the eyes, and you won't be fearing for the well being of your ear drums after watching them.
Anywho, come check my channel out. Ideally, I'll have new content every other day, as I am busy with work and school.

I'm pretty sure I had the same thing happen to me, walked around, thoroughly confused. Built a dirt house, without a roof, and as night fell i was bombarded by spiders and creepers.
It's really hard to say, I've been playing Minecraft since the release of Beta. I feel like I enjoyed those days better, when the game was more simplistic, I'm not entirely sure, though, nostalgia is a funny thing. We may think we enjoyed those earlier versions better because those were the days when we all fell in love with this wonderful game. I'm sure we'd experience the same sense of nostalgia a year or two down the road, but we'll all be missing 1.6. Just a speculation.

This is an updated tutorial for a 2x3 piston door, the design is simple and compact, and extrememly easy to memorize. I focus on making my videos high quality and easy to watch and enjoy.

-Rebels and Royals is an arena based PvP battle in which players fight to defend their flags.
-The game is optimized for 2-24 players.
The game is controlled by a player named 'The Operator', he oversees every part of the game, what supplies players will receive at the start of each round, who lives, who dies, who wins, and who loses. As the game goes on, the Operator must provide players with the necessary materials to craft a fire charge. With the fire charge, players will load cannons (dispensers) aimed at the enemy's flag. Each team has two flags, and when both flags are burned down, the team loses.

Do the competitors get swords/bows? Btw this looks pretty cool good job
The competitors get whatever gear the Operator places in their armory at the beginning of the game. So it is up to your operator to decide who starts with what, for example, one team could have all bows and light armor VS. a team with heavy armor and steel swords. It's all about making the game interesting.
