I'm sorry to say but I'd never need a towel if I saw your skins. Consider this critique: I don't like them. too gritty and simple. Details are lacking.

One: Thank you for the critique (and especially thanks for not stating opinion as fact, most people would just say 'they're bad' if they didn't like them, at least you can admit that *you* don't like them rather than claiming *no one* would like them, lol), I've already been told that and have been working on my skill since then. Haven't updated the skins yet, but once I get a bit more improvement I plan on uploading V2 versions with some serious improvements to the texturing. Though the Yogstuck ones I'll probably leave as-is, because the webcomic the concept is based on (Homestuck) is done in a deliberately-bad style so the skins should complete the experience.

Two: The 'towel' thing was a reference to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You gain respect for the realizing your opinion is just opinion, and for giving criticism with specifics, but you lose a bit of it again for not recognizing H2G2.

RE: Aerozia, I wasn't expecting 'oohing or ahhing', I just wanted some kind of feedback. Thanks for at least including some of such in your post though, I'll take that into consideration as I go forward in perfecting/improving my skin-making skills.

RE: The other two (Technastar and Phixef), I can certainly try, but as far as Technastar's request I would need to see some pictures to work from. I'll google what you're talking about (though I am very familiar with the clone troopers, so I don't need a reference there other than for detail, not a huge fan of the prequel movies, but I found them alright, and the Clone Wars series - both of them - are pretty decent) and see what I can do. Not too sure if I can get the hi-res thing, I've got a lot more work to do before I can tackle that with confidence, but I can give it a try. If what I come back with doesn't please you, you might need to try someone else (Technastar, you might be better off trying someone else anyway, due to my lack of confidence in doing hi-res skins, but I will give it a try before I say you absolutely need to).

Wow, this all sounds great. I think the multiple world idea will work. This could work well for people who want to roleplay (in a specific world of course) if there even are people who want to roleplay.

    iif?

    iif?

you 2ay iif liike there wa2 any doubt that there would bee people wantiing two roleplay

EDIT: Speaking of 'bee', if that Minecraft&&Homestuck mod isn't/doesn't become server-compatible, Tekkit (with some modifications once the next new tekkit version releases, because the whole Forestry thing stopped being a thing that is included), or just some of the mods that are in it if the whole 'credit, donation link to the original modders, but no official permission' thing is an issue for you guys (particularly Buildcraft, IC2, maybe EE if we want to keep the 'alchemizing' feel, and Forestry, which is the one that clicked with me as soon as I included 'bee' in the first part of the post via Sollux's quirk), would be a thing that would be cool to at least consider including.

Preeeeeeeetty sure you can upgrade a processor (well I should say 'get a new one', to 8e completely accur8). Not even that expensive to get a dual-core 2ghz anymore (hell, an AMD quad-core is only 110 8oondollars on the site I just linked........ A refur8ished Intel Core 2 Duo on the same site is less than 30. Miiiiiiiight need to look into a new mo8o*, 8ut might not, I had an older computer at one point (not that old, but close), and it could run a dual-core 2ghz fine.

(*For those with trouble reading Vriska's quirk and less-than-familiar with computer-related abbreviations, that's 'mobo', or 'motherboard')

Come on, 42 views (everyone remembered their towel, right?), and no replies? Even a 'these skins are nice', 'these skins suck', or 'they're pretty average, you could do better' or something...

Hello, friends! Omega is here once again (it's been a long time since I've really showcased any creativity on these forums...) to show off some new skins I've worked on.

Skins based on the Marvel X-title "Generation Hope":

    Hope Summers

    Laurie Tromette/Transonic

    Gabriel Cohuelo/Velocidad

    Kenji Uedo/Zero

    Teon Macik/Primal

My personal skin (just an image, no skin dl, don't want clones of me running around all over the place)
(Me as a character from Homestuck - a test I took gave me "Prince of Breath" as a title/aspect)

    YOGSTUCK!
Members of the Yogscast team (in their in-game avatars where possible, but in cases where I couldn't find their avatars, I went from scratch on pictures of the real person behind the personality), in similar circumstances to my personal skin (ie: 'reimagined as characters in Homestuck'). If Simon, Lewis, or any of the rest see this, first of all, I am Dave! Yognaught and I have the balls! And secondly, if the skins are to your (any Yogscasters, that is) liking, feel free to PM me for the link to the skin itself, or see the post I'll be making on your own boards, where I'll be posting the actual skins rather than just previews.

Lewis/Xephos, the Knight of Mind (now that I think about it, probably should have either used the test I found my own with, or went with the Space aspect)

    Simon/Honeydew, the Prince of Blood

    Sips, the Bard of Void

Sjin, the Thief of Doom (after that incident in "Tekkit with Duncan - I originally had another title/aspect planned out)

    Duncan/Lalna, the Seer of Space

    Hannah/Lomadia, the Sylph of Time

    Rythian, the Rogue of Light

    MORE TO COME/TAKING REQUESTS

This no longer works (and yes, I realize this is an old topic, I apologize for necromancy but this topic is of use to me and many others), is there anything that will actually work as of now?

'Doesn't work' = gives back an error "[#10210] You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community."

I see you're not using EE, which is understandable - a lot of griefing potential with some of the EE items - but it's a negative thing for me. Doesn't mean I won't try the server, I'd just prefer a server where I can get my alchemy on a bit alongside/instead of the machines and stuff. Location in France likely means latency issues as well, given I'm in Canada. Still may apply and try it out, just not sure yet.

Can't guarantee I can make it, depends on when the Games are scheduled and what's going on in my rl life at that time, but I'll give advance warning if I have to pull out, and someone can volunteer as tribute in my place, if I'm chosen.

    IGN: OmegaX123
Are you able to put up a good fight: I like to think so
Will you follow the rules: Yes
Would you play in a second season: Yes, assuming rl doesn't interfere
What district would you want to represent: District 12 (it's a coal-producing district about a week's walk from D13, and D13 is in the Laurentians - since that's the only place in North America that produces graphite - and those facts mean that it has a lot of similarities to my province, although it obviously isn't the same place since D12 is stated as being in 'the area once known as Appalachia')

    What I'm looking for:

PvP, PvE, RP, or mixed (preferably at least light RP, but not a 'requirement')

EE stuff NOT banned (I enjoy a good bit of Steampunk/Tech-punk, but also a good bit of magecraft/alchemy)

Any number of people, as long as there's enough room for at least one more (me)

    Grief-protected and/or Whitelisted

Would like to see some level of (friendly) rivalry between EE and Tech users, but not a 'requirement' - just to add to the environment and (if it exists) the RP scene of the server.

Some level of friendliness/helpfulness to newbies (Tekkit newbies - of which I am one - and Minecraft newbies - of which I'm definitely not).

Preferably with MCMMO or a similar class system, maybe with some sort of economy plugin (or just a barter system).

    What I can offer:

Friendly, experienced Minecrafter, though new to Tekkit/TechnicPack stuff (Sometimes I like to keep to myself, but overall friendly and helpful when I can be)

Eager to learn, eager to help when/if I know how to do something

(If server is RP or RP-friendly) Experienced RPer, having participated in RP servers on Neverwinter Nights, City of Heroes, as well as forum RPs and such

I haven't forgotten, I've just had my time taken up. Calendar is more clear now, so I'm pretty much able to be around whenever I'm needed, provided there's some advance notice (I think I gave Blade my skype and my email, also I check the thread infrequently, and I get email when someone PM's me here).

Well, there's always next year for the Christmas special, if the series runs that long/gets added on to. I mean even the professional series that airs on TV didn't have a Christmas special before the first revival episode (9/Chris Eccleston eps).

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I've been rather sidetracked lately, but once we have firm established timeline and what-not, I'll definitely be handy for filming.

@Omega: Person 1 is pretty much going to be equal amount of lines as the Cybermaster in later episodes considering they're going to be (sort of) a companion, and I could try to find a role that keeps popping up in every episode with a minimal amount of lines.

Before a decision is fully made, I probably ought to ask, how much dialogue is 'a lot' (ie: Cybermaster or Person 1 amounts)? 'Minimal' dialogue isn't needed, I'm good with a decent amount of lines, I just don't want to be overwhelmed, and I haven't acted in a long time, or voice-acted ever.

EDIT: to the last poster, I'm in Atlantic (1 hour later than Eastern, or GMT-4).

As for roles... I assume there are more roles (maybe more Cybermen or Guild members) in later episodes? If so, I may hold off my appearance until then, if not and if the Person 1 role isn't taken, then I'll go for that. All I know is I don't want to be someone with too few lines, but I don't want to be someone with loads of lines like the Cybermaster either.
