I have the same problem, but instead of getting hurt it teleports me to the closest place where you can walk in vanilla.
The problem is that Smart Move is not loading up on the server. Check your server log. I am getting an error because of a class file in the wrong location.
>ModLoader Server 1.1 Initializing...
22:19:19 [INFO] ModLoader Server 1.1 Initializing...
>Warning: mod_SmartMovingMp.class is in the wrong folder (won't be loaded).
I do not know where to move this file. but it is located in the root directory of the zip / craftbukkit.jar, which is incorrect. I think it needs to be moved but I dont know WHERE to.
Ill do my best to find out if Modloader shows anything but, it doesnt seem to show any errors. Minecraft Logs you in, I see the world, then just blackscreen.
1. String Length Error happens WAY too often, and kicks players after death on my server. Not allowing them to connect for 5 - 15 mins some times. This occurs even after setting Packet Data sent down to 10 from 100.
2. Sprinting + jump seem to have stopped taking Energy, I changed from Easy to Med To Hard, and I was able to sprint and jump nonstop. This happened on my server and I have no idea why.
2ndly, do you have a donate link set up and if so, can I donate to get a feature bumped to the front of your list?
Third, The Error with String Length is only an issue when the "Override Client Options" is set to True. Im sure you know bout it, but is there an ETA on a fix?
Keep up the good work!
Bug Info:
Smart Move: 6.4
MC 1.0.0
Bukkit 1.0.1
No other Mods
Error : Max String Length error.
Repeatable: Yes, just turn Server Override option on.
WorkAround: Just keep relogging.
Yep, SSP build is up. SMP and Bukkit not far behind, they'll come tomorrow evening most likely. In the meantime, test it and let me know what's broken cause those Notch changes really threw me for a loop this time!
I don't read the mean posts anyways. Unless they come from donators of course, people like Olat have every reason to be a little fed up. I'd probably be refunding his donation if I didn't get it done like I will today.
RTB,
Like I said before, life happens, we all need to money and or the break every now and then. I told ya back then and Id say it again, I wouldn't want the refund. My Donation was for your plugin and your amazing this work so far. I'm just hoping to keep you interested and invested in such an amazing plugin. Thanks for your work once again.

Still might I suggest, looking for assistance from the eager coders and or the Bukkit Forums? Anyway, I'm glad you're back in action
