How about you have certain 'pedestals' around the dimension where you can.... basically right click on it and give it a staff (through a GUI) - any staff other than basic - and it increases the buff the staff already gives? And each 'pedestal' is all about a certain element, so it increases the power of the element permanently (meaning you would have the 'buff' no matter what staff you use). I hope this is even possible
So, this morning, when i was busy doing some stuffs at school, my mind told me this (translated to English XD)
"Hey, adding magick mobs and mages are cool.....nah...not cool enough, we need to do more."
Then I asked
"What should we add then???"
Brain said
"DIMENSION!!!!!! A freaking magical dimension! HOW DOES THAT SOUND?!!!!"
Said me
"OMFGWTF AWESOME! Yea, a new dimension, what would the name be then???"
Brain said again
"Minegard it is"
Then we start creating the realm.....
I've been known to have good ideas. I would be honored to help you brainstorm this, if you would like help that is.

Well, probably not, but I guess I can try to learn how to texture and try. By the way, if I could suggest you make the GUI just the symbols and the boxes, without the background on the symbols. Like original Magicka.
