But I think it could be improved by adding some full size trains.(stop me now if what I'm suggesting isn't possible, I don't want to do a bunch of modeling in vain.)
Here are two types of two-block wide standard gauge (1.415 meters) track. One is realistically scaled, and one is kinda quarter-block high. There is also a real-size SD40-2 with what I think is a Minecraft level of detail.
(Behind is a regular old train simulator type train I had made earlier, for scale comparisons.[also to prove that I'm not a hack modeler])
The SD40-2 is three blocks wide and twenty-one blocks long. As such, any two-block wide rail system is going to require very wide curves.
I am prepared to do all the heavy lifting work for modeling track, rolling stock, etc. etc. if a system like this can be implemented.
