Nov 29, 2012If you could not tell "at least 30 year old computer" was a joke, because my computer sucks. Curse you HP!Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
Ah, like I said I got this computer from someone else, so I do not have a boot disk.
Nov 29, 2012I don't know how this happened... I got this computer from someone else. Also, I think every part of the computer has crapped the bed before, this is at least a 30 year old computer. I'll try your suggestions as soon as my computer will work again. No major issues, just need to change the batteries. ( For real, my computer is not working at the moment because a small button-battery died. )Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
Also, while I wait for a new battery, I would like to ask: since it will delete one os that is exactly the same as the other, how do I know it won't delete both?
Nov 28, 2012I have two operating systems, and I need to get rid of one... but here's the catch: the two os are EXACTLY the same! It's eating up lots of hard drive space, and I need to do this professionaly. Any suggestions?Posted in: Computer Science and Technology
When I start up windows it does this:
Please select an operating system or wait (#) seconds.

Nov 24, 2012Octantrucker posted a message on [64x | 1.6.4] Definitance (Please re-vote in the new poll!)Amazing pack! One of the best I've seen so far! :]Posted in: WIP Resource Pack
Nov 19, 2012Even though this has already been said, go to a swamp. With 1.4 slimes will now spawn at the surface as long as the chunk is labeled as a "swampland" biome and in the night cycle. And you will get rare chance to find a witch!Posted in: Survival Mode
Nov 17, 2012Thankyou! That really clears up alot, I would have never guessed the texture IDs would be directly associated with the "terrain.png". I should have at least thought of that, it having terrain right in the name... =/ So now I can make sparkling ores with ease, again thanks so much ( I was to dumb to realize that sparkling diamond ferns wasn't working out for me, lol )Posted in: Resource Pack Discussion
Oh! Three more things:
1: I know "custom_lava_x"
Is there anything else important I should know?
2: Right now I have 32x512 but could I make a longer animation by adding intervals of 32?
3: What about items?
Nov 11, 2012Yes! This invention was not completly to have a new pulse limiter, it was to make something with the new repeater locks. (yet i did need a new limiter...)Posted in: Redstone Creations
Good job Ping-PongNinja, but not quite how i did it.
Nov 10, 2012I was looking at the pulse limiters at the wiki tutorials, hated them all... so I invented my own! It's 3x3 (and flat) and converts a button's 8-tick pulse to a 1-tick pulse. This is using the new latch feature.Posted in: Redstone Creations
R = repeater + # of ticks + direction
r = dust
I = possible input
O = output
I r R2> R2^
I r R2> R1^
I r r r
I I I
I'll try to provide a real pic later.
