We know what a dimension ruled by both Erebon and Pluton look like: Immortallis.

We know what a dimension ruled by both Luxon and Selyan look like: The Everland.

But, what would a dimension ruled by both Luxon and Pluton look like?

And, what would a dimension ruled by both Erebon and Selyan look like?

    Luxon and Pluton
An Utopia where law and order is enforced, but the law is not used to punish but to change criminals. It is also a dimension where trading thrives and the population are neutral and happy. They won't attack players on sight but will defend themselves. Basically Neo Utopia from AreaofMobeus's idea in AoA Suggestion Thread.

    Erebon and Selyan
A hellish island with lava sea around it with a lot of vegetations, both harmful and harmless. Since both gods are chaotic, the inhabitants are unique and powerful animals or demonic animals. The animals will kill each other in a food chain kind of relationship. Basically Undergarden from BoP.

Yes, because the god war clearly triggered a nuclear explosion strong enough to wipe out most life in an infinitely large flat landscape. :P

All joking aside, the god war IS responsible for the destruction of Labricon prior to it being rediscovered by us truly. I also highly doubt Pluton was the original owner of Vox Ponds. Pluton's all about treasure - not plants.

Well, I mean the gods are able to create dimensions from scratch. It's not impossible for those gods to destroy dimensions as well. Especially if there is the two of them.

Also, I was never aware of Labricon's condition. Could you elaborate on that subject a little bit more?

So one of the hardest dimensions in the game can be obtained from one of the easiest dimensions in the game? Talk about a difficulty spike! O-O

It does make sense, however, that a mushroom dimension full of living fungi with poison attacks would be your ticket to a poisonous dimension (if you set aside the robots).

That also brings back up a question I think many of us have - did Selyan used to own Vox Ponds before something happened that turned it into the toxic wasteland we know today? Maybe she disowned Vox Ponds because she felt guilty in some way?

I think the Vox Ponds condition is because of War of Gods, in other words, because of Pluton and Erebon.

Also, Xolova is back! YAY! :D

Hello! It seems we have reached the topics of addon for this mod. Anyone who checks this thread daily may remember me as a random guy spouting random ideas from page 2045. Anyway, I want to Share my ideas for addon with you all. Here they are:

    Hardmode Dracyon

Instead of shooting icy projectiles, Dracyon now shoots bubbles. The thing is, when you're hit with these bubbles you can not attack or move. This is terrible as Dracyon's melee attacks now deal DOUBLE DAMAGE when you're in water (The bubble counts as water). Also, he can summon pillar of water at your feet and he heals when in contact with water. He is now immune to knockback as well.

    Hardmode Vinocorne

The King of Plants now has one more minion. A white flower which buffs and heals the boss and minions. If you're far away, he can reel you in to him with a vine claw (deals 20 damage), meaning you can not use ranged attacks effectively. Also, he has thorns effect/Kror's recoil when you attack him. His attacks now causes weakness and slowness.

    Hardmode C.R.E.E.P.

First and most importantly, he is healed by explosions. He can also summon creepers, shoot lightning, and cause an explosion at your feet. At half health, he will become charged, meaning lightning will now heal him and he now summons charged creepers. Remember, the Black Pixon projectile deals more damage the further you are.

    Hardmode King Shroomus

This Mushroom now gravitates you (Again, thank you Blackghost) meaning now you will not be safe from his attacks. He can also shoot disarming spores which cause you to drop your weapon. Ranged attacks are recommended.

    Structures and NPCs

A village in Greckon. Everybody in this village is creepy looking and you can not talk or trade to them. They just stare at you silently. In the heart of the village, there is a massive maze mansion. You could fight the second boss of Greckon here. After you kill the second boss, the curse will be lifted and now you can talk and trade with the villagers. Their special trade is Silenced Sword, which stays in your inventory even when you stare at a silencer.

A planetarium in Lunalus. You could fight the second boss of Lunalus here. Also, make it so Lunalus's sky have stars and the moons are farther to each other. The bottom could be void.

That is all i can think of. If any one of you want to make an addon based around my ideas, i'll allow it. Thank you for reading! :)

So Pat and Jen return to the Haven and defeat Rockrider...

Yes. I've noticed that Rockrider sometimes stops or do nothing. When I was messing around in creative, I found a Cherry Barrager. I summoned an iron golem to kill it. The Iron Golem stops every few steps and I have to clear out the area from grass to clear the way for Iron Golem. Xolova should make it so the grass don't do that, and the bosses should be able to see you even when you are behind a wall. Also, why didn't Rockrider teleport when Pat fought it ? Maybe because of 2.5 snapshot I've been using?

Hey, I'm back from my long sleep searching for ideas to post in this forum. And, although my ideas will fall time deaf ears, I will post them anyway to keep this mode alive. So here there are:

    Hardmode Clunkhead

He protects himself with runic barrier that harms you (Similar to Slider Mimic from the Aether), place down runes on the floor that explodes when you step on it, teleports around and his high damage projectile creates explosion (Thank you, Blackghost for the idea :D)

    Hardmode Nethengeic Wither

His explosion destroys blocks, set you on fire, withers you, and on the final stage he fires them at overwhelming speeds. The hard part on this fight is mitigating ALL 4 types of damage from the Projectile, explosion, projectile, occasional fall damage and wither status.

    Hardmode Rockrider

They teleports to/away you every 15 seconds depending in the stage which they are on. They change resistance every 60 seconds. On melee immune, they will charge you like a madman, dealing absurd amounts of damage and slowing you so you can't escape. On range immune, they will fire projectile that knocks you back and give you both slowness and weakness. On range immune, they teleport away from you.

    Hardmode Four Guardians

They fly, making it harder for you to hit them. They are also pretty accurate. Here's the twist: their special ability is similar to Ayeraco Horde from DVRPG. The Red one heals other guardians, the Blue one gives them resistance, the Yellow one makes them quicker and the Green one makes their projectile explodes. All effects begin at full health. At half health, the Guardians will give you buffs OPPOSITE from the buffs they give to each other. The Red one poisons you, the Blue one give you nausea, the Yellow one slows you, and the Green one gives you negative resistance. Also, do you realise the Four Guardian's colour are similar to the Fou Gods's colour?

    Hardmode Gyro

When you are near him, he will explode and shoot confetti everywhere, making it almost impossible to consistently land melee hits on him. At range, he will shoot confetti missile that damages you, place confetti particles on the ground for 5 seconds and leaves a trail on confetti. They deal large amounts of damage and knockback (enough to knock you high in the air) and Gyro is known to fire four of them in a row.

    Hardmode Voxxulon

His projectile leaves Begrimed Sludge that damages, poisons, slows, weakens, and gives you nausea. They will slowly fill up the arena and the only way you can get rid of them is to stand on the middle of it and hope that Voxxulon will teleport to you and absorbs it, healing him for 200 health. At half health and beyond, he will remove all Begrimed Sludge himself every 60 seconds. For every tile of Begrimed Sludge, he will deal 1 pure damage. He shoots falling projectile faster as well.

    Hardmode Graw

Graw will leave a trail of fire on the ground , effectively setting you on fire the entire fight. Graw also make use of a special status effect: Liquid Fire. The liquid fire effect will create an explosion every time you are damaged by fire. This made the fight MUCH MUCH harder, as Graw's projectile will also explode and create more holes on the ground. At 1/4 health, Graw will make use of the underside of Lelyetia, teleporting to the underside and forces you to follow him and fight over the void. He still gravitates you. He won't leave a fire trail because there's nowhere to set fire to. Flying mount recommended.

    Hardmode Corallus

Not much change were made, except it's projectile shoots 4 projectile at you when it dies. These projectile slows you and damages you. Corallus will also stay at his enraged form for an extended period of time. It will also regenerates in water. It also swims incredibly quickly.

    Hardmode Kror

This lazy giant finally decides to move. He moves at a similar pace to Silverfoot. He could also drops a boulder from the air. These boulders explode. I think by making him able to move, it already adds the difficulty by a significant amount, because it's harder for you to escape his melee hit and insta damage radius. Also, make it so when you shoot Kror, you take damage.

The hardmode bosses could pathfind and destroy blocks to get to you. They could see you from far away and through walls.

    Structures and NPCs

    A sunken ship in L'Borean.

A nuclear power plant in Vox Ponds. In the power plants, you will find Acid Spitter that spits sludge and places sludge around it when he got damaged. In this power plant, you will find the Vile Professor and some Hazmat Armored workers. They are NPCs you could talk with to obtain some backstory on the Vox Ponds.

A testing facility on Vox Ponds. In these facilities, you will find mutated animals and plants. Xolova could add a second boss of Vox Ponds in here.

A Bazaar on Celeve. You could find clowns talking about the backstory of celeve, selling toys, food, and other stuffs you could find in a Bazaar. If Xolova could code it, he should add minigames on these bazaar. These minigames are:

Juggling oranges and stabbing it with a sword, magic show, (mechanical) animal shows, acrobat, and side shows. You could either buy tickets to enjoy the show or volunteer to the ringmaster to do these shows yourself. You get prizes equal to the difficulties of these minigames. An Acrobat dual boss fight could be added.

Remember that not all structure should simply be there to further your progression. There should be some entertainment structure with NPCs that you could talk with.

More dimension music? I didn't know they had any to begin with other than that jingle that plays when you open a portal. Also, I completely agree with the boss music. A lot of it doesn't fit, the looping is bad and its 15 seconds tops. Still, it's nice have boss music for when you fight bosses without any extra mods.

In fact, the whole audio engine needs a little patching. The AoA mob sounds don't follow the rules of the other mobs and that can be quite the pain when you have other audio mods installed.

Well, my idea is a Greatsword called a Comet sword who isn't exactly all too different from others in combat except if you attack an enemy as you're falling, it can direct any fall damage you have at that moment into extra damage for that mob. Depending on how it's made, it could either be an area attack that deals damage to everyone nearby or it could be a singular attack that can deal 4x damage. The catch is that you don't suffer any fall damage yourself if you successfully land the attack. Miss and you break your legs right next to an enemy. And that's really awkward.

I also thought about updating the staves so they are a little more useful in combat. For example any buff staves could work in an aoe that includes anyone on your team focused on you (for example, an Ember Staff putting out all burning allies in range), the basic staves could do with a damage buff because they are pretty much worthless and the offensive staves could do with a debuff effect. Overall it could do with an overhaul because at this time, staves are just trophy pieces that do stuff sometimes.

What I meant with "Dimension Music" is a music that plays when you are in a particular dimension. A good example of mod with dimension music is Betweenlands. Also, I agree with you completely about the staffs. At least make so you can hit people with it, so it has 2 effects now: an effect that activates when you hit people and an effect that comes out when you fire the staff. Also, for 2.8 update, Xolova should improve the graphics and the music (as stated before). Also, make the projectile effect cooler (Clunkhead should fire blue rune projectile, Dracyon's projectiles should have ice or snow visual effect, Sun Staff creates an ACTUAL SUN (that lights up an area, deal heavy fire damage, and explode when expired, also make it slowly increase in size and slowly got redder as well), Reef Staff room should be repaired and lasts for 60 seconds only, you get regeneration when you use it, also, you can't do it in a boss battle.)

Also nice greatblade idea ! I definitely approved of it.

I think after the update comes out, Xolova should work on some design changes (Tortione, for example should look like Turtle from Chocolate Quest). Also, when Ascension event finally added, add more dimension music and longer and more complicated boss music.

Hello there, you may have remembered the alternate Stingers. You've only seen a fraction of the whole picture.

Hints : Java Core, Tech Empires, Hidden Aether, Machines, Cryogenic Crysis, Monty's Camp.

Also I think Polytoms move by powering magnets with electricity and changing the electric charge of the magnets.

Interesting. Though I must express some confusion with the Polytom part. Changing the electric charge? Does that means North Pole Magnet became South Pole Magnet? Or Negative electrical charge became positive? Then, there must be a bigger magnet so the Polytoms could move around. I'm no Einstein, so I must ask you to explain how Polytom move more specifically.

    Wasteland ai chip: previously mentioned

Primordial skull: when your about to die, it will save you. It does this 5 times, each time doing an attack like that of each primordial five whilst instantly healing 5 hearts: 1. Hit all nearby mobs, debuffs them accordingly and heal a heart per mob hit. 2. Shoot a projectile that leeches health. 3. Gain speed/jumpboost/regen III. 4. Become invisible, summon a player ghost. 5. Instantly kill nearby mobs, heal all the way

Graw tablet: consumes 10 creation. Summons a mini graw mount with flying capabilities. Isn't consumed on use.

Luxons chivalry: 35 damage. A greatblade that attacks with explosions. fills the luxon tribute bar when used. Indestructible.

Erebons rage: 3 power/fire runes. A staff that can randomly summon on of penumbras summons. Fills the Erebon tribute bar on use. Indestructible.

Gravitron emitter: consumes energy. Fires an evercron projectile that brings the target towards you.

    Many spooky

    So cuddle

    Very labricon

    Much boss

Very good ideas. Though, I suggest that Tyrosaur drop became Baby Tyrosaur and Mechbot's drop became Mechbot Battle Suit, a mount/armor hybrid. Jump to shoot explosive projectiles, M1 to shoot rapidly, and M2 to shoot heat-seeking missiles. Also, our ideas can only happen when Hardmore is implemented, because if not, then what are the point of the weapons? So i have some suggestion of hardmode bosses.

    Primordial Five:
Kajaros: He is immune to projectiles. Hits harder.
Miskel : Could empower himself, increasing his attack speed and could project shield (Absorption)
Harkos : Very fast, hits harder, 3x attack from behind, invisible, poison, clones, void prison (Stops+Wither you), shoot shurikens and bombs. If you are more Melee oriented, He will summon clones, void prison you and shoot projectiles. If you are more range oriented, he will use jump+invis+clone+3x attack from behind+poison.
Raxxan : He will hit harder, confuse you, and his main move is called Mind Break. He will use one of these effects periodically.
    1. He gives you resistance, but negative resistance, tricking you to be careless.
    2. Gives you static screen effect for 5 seconds, tricking you to thinking there is a stalker nearby.
3.If you are at full health, he will damage you severely so you will only have 1 health, then very quickly healing you back to full 2 second later. Tricking you to use golden apples, rejuvenation staff, etc. To save your life.
    4. He dominates lesser minds, allowing all of your creatures or summoned creatures to attack you for 10 seconds.
His ultimate move is called Mind Bend. At 100 health, he will teleport as far away from the player at 30 X and 30 Z area from the Shrine, and summon a fake Okazor in his place, while he is healing. Fake Okazor acts like a real Okazor except his attacks only deal 10x damage.
Okazor: He is smarter and stronger. When you are far away, he will shoot you with projectiles that acts like Miskel's projectile. At melee range, he will attack relentlessly and stun you periodically. If you are more Melee oriented, he will attempt to knock you back by shooting you. If you are range oriented, he will jump and stun you, forcing you to stay within melee range. He could avoid your attacks 10% of the time (Like Primordial Armor) and block' reducing damage taken but not attacking. If he blocks for too long, he will teleport behind you and counterattack. Drops Primordial Skull.

    Mechbot
He jumps. He has 3 methods of attacking you. First, he will jump 3 times while shooting projectiles that hits hard. His second method is when your Y coordinate is lower than his Y coordinate. He will shoot fast moving and dangerous heat seeking missiles and bullets from his gatling gun. He could also melee you. His third method of attacking is the most dangerous one. When he jumps, he will jump to one of the platforms at Mechbot Charging Station. You must jump with him to avoid the electrical current send from the charging station. He is the only boss who use his Arena to damage you.

    Skeletal Army
Skeletal Bannerwielder : Empowers nearby skele-units.
Skeletal Magician : Heals nearby troops periodically, more dangerous version of the Skeleman.
Skele-Knight : Harder version of Skele-Pig, fast, immune to knockback and projectiles.
Skele-Assassin: Jumps, invis, attack from behind.
At hardmode, Skele-Elder is replaced by Skeletal Bannerman, and Skele-Assassin replaced Skele-Hopper, Skele-Wizard replaced Skeleman, Skele-Knight replaced Skele-Pig. Skeletron is the same.

    Coniferon

At the start of the fight, he will place 4/5/6 brambles depending on the difficulty. These brambles are indestructable and will damage you and poison you when you got near. He will periodically place saplings that became ents. His main move is Symbiosis. For every Ents, and Brambles, he will get stronger. At 6 Nature stuff, he is able to summon flurry of projectiles that heavily poison and slows you. At 10 Nature stuff, every Ent that you kill explodes and damages you. At 15 nature stuff, he is able to use Wrath of Nature every 60 seconds, and deal half a heart of damage for every nature stuff present in the arena to you. The damage is pure. The ents also gain regeneration, poison attack, and resistance at 6/10/15 interval. Once the abilities are used, they cannot be deactivated by reducing the number of Nature stuff.

    Horon

Use melee attacks and ranged attack depending on your distance to him. He is able to create energy-sucking void. All of his attacks sucks energy, soul power and creation. He has 5 dangerous abilities. First, he can stab his sword through your heart, sucking energy and damaging you. Repeatedly press spacebar to escape. Second, he could create explosions around him. His third to fifth abilities are all rampages. Depending on which resources reaches 200 first. His third ability is Rampage:Energy. He could create 3 barrages of hard-hitting explosive projectiles in a tight circle around him. This ability could kill a Player armed with leather armor instantly (not counting explosive damage). You cannot avoid this,so use your best armor, eat an enchanted golden apple and pray. His second rampage is Rampage:Creation. He summons 20 Energy Constructs that has 1 health and 20x attack. They are immune to magic. His final rampage is Rampage:Soul. This rampage is active when he is below 1500 health. He is faster, more resistant, hit harder, super regen, healing attack, and fire resistant for 30 seconds.

    Penumbra

He will summon minions. When you kill a minion, the Spirit counter will rise. At 0 killed minion, he receives Wither Aura, which withers player at 5 blocks range. At 10 killed minions, he could sacrifice 5 spirit counters to heal 400x health. He will use this ability every 100 seconds. At 20 killed minions, he will use 10 of these soul to summon a Soul Crystal, which empowers nearby minion with Strength. This ability can only bebused every 120 seconds. At 30 killed minions, he will teleport to the middle of the room and began channeling for 3 seconds before consuming all soul to summon 15 lines of dead souls to heavily damage and slows the Player. You can avoid it if you're careful.

    Goldroth

From zero to hero, Goldroth is the most dangerous of hardmode Ancient Cavern bosses. His dangers lies in simplicity of the encounter. At the first half of his health pool, he will run around , hitting you for modertate damage, while periodically teleporting you to him. At the last half, he will spawn 4/6/7 Gravity Binds, restricting movements and sucking and slowing you in. The Arena could only contain 9 Gravity Binds. At the edge of Gravity Bind, you get slowness 1 and weak sucking, all the way to slowness 5 and gravity force so big, you can't escap at the center. His attacks are enough to knock you in to these Gravity Binds but aren't enough to knock you out. He could raise some spikes from the ground, which damages Players. It deals 30 damage to unarmored player. And, worse, when you are in Gravity Bind, you can't escape and taking a lot of damage from the Spikes. He could also throws bombs, which get sucked in to the Gravity Bind and explode, again dooming you with explosion damage. The worst part is his Ultimate Ability: Tectonic Upheaval, which is certain death if you stand 1 block from him. If he is on the top-left corner and you are in bottom right corner, you will get 1 heart of reduceable (By resistance, blocking, etc.) damage every tick. This ability is used every 60 seconds. He won't use his teleport ability when he is below half health.

By the way, if you haven't read my suggestion, to achieve hard mode, you will need to defeat the god's guardian (Coniferon, Horon, Penumbra, Goldroth) 5 times to get an event known as "Ascension", in which you'll have to reject or accept a God's proposal to be his/her guardian. Hardmode for all bosses and Dimension are achieved by rejecting all god's offer, thus automatically aligning you with Krasaun. If you anger a god (By either rejecting his/her proposal or accepting rival god's proposal) they will upgrade their mobs, dimension, bosses to kill you. Let's say if you accept Erebon's offer, then only Horon, Clunkhead, Cotton Candor, Candyland, Haven, etc are upgraded, not all bosses and dimensions. The dialogs change depending on what side you're on. If you reject Erebon's offer, Luxon will upgrade his blessing , from Regeneration 1 to Regeneration 2,etc.

This idea is quoted from KrsnParagon from AoA Suggestion Thread. I think his idea needs more recognition. So here it is.

"My idea is an extension of the War of Gods theory. So let's say you defeated Coniferon 10 times. Selyan will offer you a position of his guardian. If you accept, you will get some weapons and a full set of armor unobtainable by any other method, while also provoking the rival faction (In this case, Pluton). If you already accepted the offer, you can't get any other special armor from other gods. If you anger the rival faction, the rival faction god (Pluton) will never give you his blessings even though you are in Iromine, for example, and will upgrade his mobs and guardians to defeat you. Rejecting the offer angers the god (Selyan, in this case) and he will not give you resistance although you are in his dimensions, while pleasing the rival God (Pluton) who will upgrade his blessing (Haste 1 to Haste 2, etc). Rejecting all four offers will align you with Krasaun, and he will give you a stronger set of armor and weapons with the risk of angering the 4 Gods and making their dimensions harder to traverse with events and stronger bosses and mobs."

What if we could get action figures or Items, Armors or Mounts that allowed us to act like the bosses. For example, we could get a C.R.E.E.P Backpack. It could be very expensive, and the only way we could get it is to visit Playtopia and visit the Toy Maker. Let's say if you click M1 you spray green and black pixon like projectile and if you click M2 you create explosions below your enemies feet. If you press Ctrl the boss music will play. It would be very cool to upgrade CREEP so his projectile could summon creepers, charge nearby creepers and create explosions below your feet. Because it's a toy it has 0 defense. To use it , equip it in the chestplate slot and have open hands.

I hope the bosses in this mod are challenging, because, you know, I like challenges :-)
