Mar 9, 2015NyctoDarkMatter posted a message on Mod Spotlight: DecocraftHmm... Thanks for the feedback, Razzleberry. I didn't see anywhere that it said any of that, nor did your wiki help me with that. Good to know, this would make me want to use this much more! Word of advice, you may want to post this so that people know, as the lack of functionality would be the reason I wouldn't use a mod as beautiful as this. Thanks for putting so much time into this!Posted in: News

Mar 8, 2015NyctoDarkMatter posted a message on Mod Spotlight: DecocraftI personally like the mod, but it doesn't have any real use other than for decoration... Shouldn't I be able to sleep in a Decocraft bed, or eat a turkey? Drink Wine? It doesn't really make sense to me. Just my personal input.Posted in: News

Actually, this wouldn't be a bad idea. It would be more like minecraft:air, but I see what you're saying... this would be a minor suggestion for commands. I see no downside.

Okay, this is very vague.
I feel as if Brewing should be extended, and Enchanting and other magical aspects already implimented. Maybe a little bit of magic. However, I think that magic in Vanilla Minecraft is out of place as the game has never been about magic.
Little support; no support if wands and magic armor/tools are added.

So, this is rather simple, but I think that Gunpowder should be usable as a really fast fuel source; instead of the speed of a normal coal, it should be almost quadruple that. However, one gunpowder would only smelt two items, and here's where the danger comes in; it has a chance of exploding each time a gunpowder is used.
This chance wouldn't be huge, and neither would the explosion, but you would lose any items in the furnace, as well as the furnace itself and maybe a couple of blocks around it if it exploded. It would be smaller than any explosion already implemented.
This would be a risky thing but useful if you need something really fast. My main reason for this is personal experience; I often have trouble waiting for things to smelt (due to my ADHD and need for everything to happen immediately), and I have tons of potatoes and other modded items that need to be cooked so that I don't starve. While waiting for them isn't THAT tedious, I personally feel as if a more exciting smelting might be useful. Worst case scenario, I lose a stack of potatoes because I was reckless with gunpowder. I also don't think that this is Overpowered because of the chance of losing your stuff and the rarity of gunpowder.
Anybody else think this is a good idea? Anyone have any suggestions to add?

Support because logic.

Hmm. Yeah, Enraged Zombie needs a better name. Farmable diamonds is problematic. Diamonds dropping is bad; make a unique item drop instead, perhaps some sort of special weapon or tool. Spawning naturally is bad; summon it with a zombie altar crafted out of flesh blocks, maybe, to make rotten flesh have some sort of use.
Overall, little support, but with some work, it could turn out to be a good idea.

Yoohoo, Lycanite! Finally made one for you, too! No asking required! The mobs were a bit difficult to get images of, but it worked really well in the end! I hope you like it! If you feel there are any changes needed to be made, let me know!

Is this any good? I hope you like it, probably one of the longer signatures just because I had to screenshot mobs instead of just ripping texture files. But what do you think? Anything it's missing? ^^;

Hi, SlipperySkater.
This seems to be a bug currently, as I am experiencing the issue as well. I believe Hoop is working on it as well.

I'm loving this whole idea. It could be called the Ocean Constrictor or something like that.
Except that the Lily Lurkers can be avoided; I think above would be more powerful and less easy to kill. A Lily Lurker just suddenly tries to kill you, whereas this would drag you to the bottom of the ocean. Just a thought, but I'd personally love to have both.

I agree that it's not scary, but there are aspects that can be frightening to newer players, especially. And I will always find lava to be terrifying without a bucket of water.

Sounds a bit like the way Amnesia mod handles insanity, but I'll have to try ozocraft for the cave sounds. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thaumcraft, eh? I love the mod but never really understood it. Perhaps I'll have to look more into that.

No problem!

So, I'm curious! In your opinion, what is the scariest thing in Minecraft? Modded, vanilla, anything! Personally, I pick lava, because I always manage to get pushed in at the unluckiest times and lose my stuff. Especially when I have Lycanites installed; not that those mobs are scary on their own, but they have some devastating effects that sometimes get me killed when next to lava (Lobbers throwing lava at me isn't fun either).

Lycanite, would you mind adding a setting to disable the message "It is pitch black, you are likely to be eaten by something..."? I'm trying to kill Grues and the message is very obnoxious and spammy. If there is already a setting, could you point me there? Thanks!
EDIT: Also, what about Night Vision? Can you take that account when you update? I hate seeing the Grue notification when it seems perfectly light out and I may have to disable Grue spawn. ;c
EDIT2: Found the warning, now I just need to disable it during Night Vision. I set their spawn settings really low though.

What about this?
/summon Foliaath {Riding:{id:Creeper}}
Danger to the max. Mobile explosive Foliaaths.
