    Haha you're not the first to ask that. I may look in to PNG overlays for the inlays, but its not high on my priorities (and you'd still need separate files for the inlay anyway). As for having a texture for each loaded state of the gun, that's a Minecraft thing that I haven't yet found a workaround for. Sorry about the trouble it causes (I deal with it too :P )


    Sorry to hear that, I'll just keep working on all these new textures. That's the bad part of being away for such a long time.

    Hey, willdabeast, do you think there is some way to not use 4 textures per gun? Because it makes it kinda hard to stay organized when I texture.

    I see where you going with the textures, and it would be nice to render one image for the player and another image for 3d person view.
    Thanks for providing players with an option to either see the back of the shield while normal play, and can use the default for pvp.

    Just tell me when your finish with the textures and I'll post them on the OP.

    I'll see what I can do with allow two textures to be used (front and back of shield), however I am not a render genius ~_~

    This is actually all I plan on doing I have a texturepack I need to work on.

    I have an idea for the reload system, switch to a piece of gunpowder and right click, switch to a ball and right click, then switch to a stick and right click.

    As for the gunpowder issue, just make it an ore.

    Yes it does it randomly flips the stone usually the stone has such a bright and limited pallette that it wouldnt matter if its flipped, but cobblestone is different I just checked it and it does tile.

    :3 haha I wanted everything to match, and thats the only thing I could think of..... So I used cobblestone as stone and made my own cobblestone from scratch. Tell me which one you guys like better please.

Take some short advice: Know your goal from the start. If you intended to make a default-edit, then that's fine; but you outright stated it wasn't a default-edit, despite clearly being so, and continue to say it's going to become it's own pack...!? I repeat: WHAT!?
    • 'those are your latest packs, according to your profile' ~Cat's 'CatPainted' pack hasn't been updated in several months, and was released about 3-months short of a year ago! 12th May 2012.
    • 'I am a great texture artist' ~After your behaviour here, all following that self-gloat of yours, I don't think I want to see you in this section again.

    1 I am not gloating I am saying :I am a great texture artist, not DA BEST OF DEE TEXTURES IN THE WHOLE WIDE WURLD
    2 I released an actual default edit a year ago, this one clearly states that it is a pack in my own style
    3 its just using the default textures as a placeholder, I am working on everything
    4 Cat painted IS his/her latest texturepack and its worse than mine.
    You are an amazing texture artist btw.....
