    Does anyone happen to remember how to apply the tool upgrades to the quarry? It has been so long, and when I right-click the quarry block with the upgrade tool in my hand, it just opens the quarry GUI.


    Ok, Nevermind. I actually did some testing, and it turns out that you cannot add the upgrades while in creative. I just ctrl/rght clicked and it took the upgrade, but only after I changed out of creative.

    Ok folks, its been a while.. Getting ready to start a new world for the family. Minecraft 1.7.10 with JAS 0.17.6. Just to clarify something real quick, do you guys disable your mob-spawning controls in all your other mob adding mods? I am adding mobs from MoCreatures, Twilight Forest, Lord of the Rings, Witchery, Fossils and Archeology, and Ancient Warfare. I just want to be sure I turn off anything I need to so that JAS can handle them. Like say for MoCreatures, Do I need to change every creatures "canspawn" to "false" in the MoCreatures config, and so forth with each of the other mods?

    Hail Crude! Could I please bother you to take a look at this here Crash report? It only Crashed when trying to load a new chunk, and now it crashes whenever the player who loaded that chunk tries to log in. It seems JAS is trying to populate a chunk and its not liking something about it.....

    Oh, and it is MC 1.7.10 with JAS 0.17.2

    Mohawky, I by no means have my head fully wrapped around the new spawn tags syntax, but maybe you are missing the Boolean part?

    "DESPAWN entity unless EXPRESSION is TRUE"

    So mayhaps that should end in : "true", ?

    Your JAS file from curse is downloading with an "_" instead of a "." before "jar". Si it is not being recognized as a jar file. A simple rename fix, but just an FYI.

    Well question # 2 I answered myself by reading the wiki, and I quote -

    "For example, entity categories do not accept the {despawn} tag."

    Actually, I was wrong all around. Confusing myself with the old version. I can see you simply used the Boolean tag to enable "despawning" with no other tags. And yes, it does work in the creature type section of the configs. The only reason I am not deleting this post is just in case someone else was confused as well.

    Odd update here. I have AMD's Catalyst Control Center installed for my video card. Well it apparently comes packaged with a new program called "AMD Gaming Evolved". Great idea, ish. It is also packaged with something called Raptor. These both integrate themselves with any and all games you have installed. Once I uninstalled Raptor, the java errors went away. I am just not willing to look into it any further than that.

    Latest downloads of Minecraft and Java.

    Launcher starts up, but before I can get my user name typed in I get the following Java error - "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"


    First - Yes I know it is a test OS and not fully supported. Yes I know there will be issues. I am not looking for full out support here. Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas.

    Background =

    I have been testing Win 10 out on a new PC build. Love it so far. Minecraft was working fine in the first build versions. Since 10041+ I have been getting this java error. I am submitting this issue with java as well. I just wanted to see how other users are doing with Win 10 and Minecraft. Mayhaps they have changed some settings in java. If anyone has any ideas, please give a shout out.

    So, silly question here. Is it possible to add a % chance for an event spawn? Example = Harvest a pumpkin and there is 10% chance the Great Pumpkin spawns to kick your butt. I wouldn't want him showing up every time.....

    Sorry guys, not going to happen. Its too much work scanning everything twice. If I wanted to release just structures I'd do it on MCSchematics. A partial release is too complicated, as it needs all the configs adjusting and you need everything loaded perfectly.

    I think they are asking you to release them "as is" now so they can use them as they want. Some of those sets you found are very usefull right away. I have most of them, but I don't want just throw your collection around as I know it took a lot of work gathering/tweaking/fixing them.

    Well, whatever my issue is, I was able to continue researching once I changed the config to no longer need resources. I am wondering if it is some kind item that the research system is not reading correctly. Maybe one of my mods is causing it. Not sure.
