I recently created the Ocarina from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in vanilla Minecraft. The Ocarina can have unlimited songs which must first be learned by the player. Check out the video below!

It's in the video's description. As for the command blocks, they're necessary to make sure the lantern only functions while the player is holding it. And yeah, I figured it'd work better with glowstone since torches can't be placed everywhere.

Awesome. Thanks very much. This is for an adventure map so it shouldnt be an issue if i cant build it until the next update.

I have two questions about command blocks... First, is it possible to somehow trigger them when a player leaves a designated area? And second, can I use command block and the setblock command to place blocks relative to the player's location?

I've seen this posted elsewhere before, but only in outdated posts. I just wanted to know if there was any way that I could put potion effects, such as jump boost or invisibility, on armor. Needing mods to do it are okay, but only if you don't need mods once the armor is already made.

It's not working for me either. I think the problem is either that haven't been saving the whitelist.txt or that you need to restart the server. Whenever you make changes to the server you'll always have to restart it, including whitelisting.

1) If I was the owner, I would choose me because I am not a sniveling 12 year old (for starters) and I can/will be online usually at least once per day. (At least until football season - if I even play)

2) I would laugh it off, as long as it has some class. If they fill my house with lava I won't be pleased. Don't expect me to look the other
way, though - I'll likely want some sweet revenge!

3) Yes I know how to work a nether hub - I'm not going to explain it to you as I'm sure you know, but I watch several Mindcrackers.

4) Well, like I said I watch my fair share of Mindcrack and I really enjoy Minecraft. I've been playing for almost 2 years. I'd also like to say that I really like potatoes.

PVP: 6/10 I'm decent but I get pretty bad lag sometimes. I'm on a netbook, which isn't exactly the best for competitive gaming.

Building: 8/10 I'm pretty good with building but I find it hard to find inspiration these days.

Redstone: 8/10 I can't build you a computer or anything, but I know my way around redstone pretty well.

Pranking: 7/10 I can take a tasteful prank as well as dish 'em out, provided I have the resources.
