posted a message on Simple Compressed Blocks

This mod adds (as of now) 30 blocks to the game. Through these blocks, you can combine cobblestone, dirt, sand, and soon to be more, by placing them side by side in a crafting table. This will get you the second version of the block. Place two V2's next to each other in a crafting table, and you get a V3. Versions go all the way up to ten, which is a range of 20[/sup] (Vanilla Block) to 210[/sup](Compressed Block 10). That's 1024 blocks in one!

posted a message on Help installing forge?

    1) Drag your .jar to your desktop if it isn't already there

    2) Create a new text document... Name it anything you want (it really doesn't matter... you're deleting it afterwards anyways.)

    3) Type the following command: java -jar JarFileName.jar

    4) Save it as YourFilename.bat

    5) Run it

    6) Delete both files after installing.

posted a message on [1.10.2] Eclipse Loads Models but Minecraft Won't

I've spent countless hours the past few days solving two trivial issues, and another has come my way. When I run minecraft in Eclipse, everything is perfect. Textures, models, recipes, etc... However, if I run minecraft forge using the minecraft launcher with my built .jar file in the "mods" folder, it seems that block models, item models, blockstates, and textures aren't registering.

I'm sick of going at it alone, so hopefully someone here can help me out. Thank you ahead of time.

Leaving it empty for my server make anyone outside my network unable to connect, including other computers on the network and my own hosting which happens to host and play on the same machine using the external IP. It may be true for you, but it is for a few people at least, since this was my only issue and google helped with that.

It's worth trying, I've seen sillier things happen ;)

This creates a new error when starting the server up:
    FAILED TO BIND PORT
The exeption was: java.net.BindExeption: could not assign requested address: JVM_Bind
Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

What are you trying to fix? Leaving this empty is perfectly fine, but putting something there leaves room for error (e.g. using the wrong address or if the adress changes for some reason).

I was litterally about to post that XD

Hmmm... It's not always the second one on the list. It varies between computer. It should be the one that starts with 192.168.*, 127.*, or 10.10.* (but not 127.0.0.1.)

I know my ipv4 is 192.168.1.1, and i do know which ip to give other people, i just said i tried everything, just in case.

Thank you very much for helping, but this didn't help :(

And lol im not turning my firewall off :P ive had viruses before and they are not pretty...
Besides, i have to go into my pc settings and change some variables, and change them back
when i start my server and Techniclauncher XD

posted a message on Nobody can join my tekkit server...
    Hello!

I need help with my tekkit server, i have tried hosting one, time and time again, but i do everything right, and nobody can join! I realize that this is a very common problem, and knowing that, i tried and tried to use their information, and it doesn't help me at all... Anyway, i am almost 100% positive that my problem is a port forwarding issue. My friend, who hosts a server on his pc, told me to go to command prompt and instead of using the first IPV4, use the second one on the list. I tried that, and it said somthing about not being a LAN ip address? Here is some of my info about my problem...

OS: Windows Vista on a 64 bit
    Router: Netgear
    Router model: WNR2000v2
Settings for my server (like i said, problably a port forwarding issue):
    #Minecraft server properties
    #Sun Jul 15 11:04:30 CDT 2012
    allow-nether=true
    level-name=UberKill
    enable-query=false
    allow-flight=true
    server-port=25565
    level-type=DEFAULT
    enable-rcon=false
    level-seed=
    server-ip=
    max-build-height=256
    spawn-npcs=true
    white-list=false
    spawn-animals=true
    online-mode=true
    pvp=true
    difficulty=1
    gamemode=0
    max-players=5
    spawn-monsters=true
    generate-structures=true
    view-distance=10
motd=Uberkill, the best pvp-ers on tekkit.

I have tried using canyouseeme.org (or com?) and portforward.com, i have tried everything, my estimate of the total time i spent trying to make this server would be, problably 24+ hours(of course, not consecutively) As i said before, i have tried everything, i tried all the ips i could find, First IPV4, Second IPV4, GatewayIP, the public ip that i googled "what is my ip" and have checked on ipchicken, everything!

BTW, i did tweak the .bat script, because i couldnt reserve enough memory, it went from,

    java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui
    pause

    to

    java -Xmx1G -Xms1G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui
    pause

Please, if you need any more information, ask me, and ill provide it! I am running a Tekkit server for a Server Lets Play im doing with my friend.

    Thanks!

I am looking for a willing player to accept me as a feed the beast competitive partner. Of course, i do have Skype, so we can easily chat in and out. I do not own a server, and i wish i could, but it's too hard for me, so i am asking someone to take me to theirs to play FtB. Here are some of my statistics.
