Very well done! The A.I. is a really nice touch and the map itself is beautiful. What's the version? 1.9?

Very nice! I love the castle and windmill builds and see you know your way around world-edit. I can't play today but tomorrow I'll try and get on and host the world on the server. I think you can join on normal 1.8.9 but you may need the world-edit version to join. I'll add you on skype (I'm Dalinar Kholin) so we can chat and keep up on the map.

Thanks for replying! Great that you're a builder Koolade, can you show some of your work? Not sure about the 3D resource pack idea although it sounds cool, it's not currently what I'm aiming to work on.

Also duvseyes what is your skillset? What are you good at?

An epic tale of epic proportions.

Hello all! I'm looking to create (work has been going on it for a few weeks now) an epic medieval fantasy adventure map as the title states. In adventure maps of late, some of them seem thrown together or just too small of a scale. I want to create something truly detailed and exciting to play. Exploration is highly encouraged and rewarded, and the map will be packed with secrets.

Now, I have a rough story outlined, and most of the beginning area terraformed, but I need help. As of now I've been using Jeracraft tutorials to create the buildings, and that just isn't working for me. I want all of the map to be original and its own. I need skilled medieval builders (not necessarily large scale, just village houses and things) and command block geniuses to make this map a fully functioning reality.

    Features:

    -Unique storyline and map.

-Custom open world built from the ground up. Go pretty much anywhere.

-Choose your own adventure style gameplay.
    -Exploration highly encouraged and rewarded.

-Incredible detail built into every nook and cranny of the map

-and the rest of what every other map has (custom npcs, mobs, and items)

Post if you're interested and have the above skillsets (not looking for beta testers btw). I'd be hosting the server hopefully daily so we can get on and build together, however my computer sucks and I'd love it if someone else could host it more regularly and efficiently.

    Thanks - Mistborn

P.S: The world will be built in 1.8.9 because of serious lag issues in 1.9. I'm hoping mojang fixes those issues so we can use the command block features in 1.9 and make a playable game.

Hello! I'm making an adventure map and I'd love your support. I'm going solo but it's always nice to have people out there backing the project.

This map is going to be a mix of choose your own adventure, exploring, adventure (duh), and story. I love the Legend of Zelda games and I want to make something resembling the epicness of the series. All exploring no matter how unconnected to the story it is will be rewarded. Whether through knowledge, loot, money, or even fame, exploration is highly encouraged.

I'm cutting no corners on this map and I want it to be the best it can possibly be (with my limited command block knowledge and building skills). Instead of just world-editing a forest onto a world painted map, I'm world-editing a forest onto a world painted map with hills made from the ground up, custom trees and parts of the forest, secret caves, boulders and bushes and flowers and etc. I want every single explorable part of the map to be wonderful to find.

Since I'm just a mediocre builder I'm using Jeracraft's tutorials on medieval building to create most of the structures in the map. Don't hate, it's the only way to get the villages and cities in the map to capture the feeling I need. Plus I'll be changing a lot to fit the climate of the place or just what I don't like.
Now that I'm done rambling here's some screenshots of the finished work. I'll keep you updated on stuff I add through a bunch of updates, and although I may show new areas and mechanics, I'm not going to spoil any of the story. Now, screenshots!

A building in the beginning village.

A secret cave in the forest nearby.

Agh this looks so sick. I love stories, roleplay, etc, but every server I've seen try never quite pulls off the MMORPG feel. This one looks excellent! No pressure. :D

Fortunately we have a save from a few weeks ago. I soon as we choose a new host I can upload the file and it will be back. We will keep you updated when we come back, I'll give you all a new I.P.

Crap, I really hope I don't lose much. Especially the castle I worked several days on. That would suck. Well, thanks for being excellent staff and doing what you can. :)

posted a message on Idea for a Minecraft Storyline based server where gameplay can be altered by player choices in game. (POLL)

I'd love a server like this. I play a lot with my little sister a gamemode where I prepare a world in a couple hours, building a small village, populating it with named villagers, and I do stuff to make the world more interesting. Then I turn invisible, turn off command output and all that, and basically fly around on creative controlling events of the world. I use /tellraw to make villagers talk and give them personality. I can use all sorts of blocks, items, effects and commands to make a sweet adventure.

Anyway, I would totally love a server that did that on a larger scale, making a player based world where our choices effect the outcome of the server. :D

    Minecraft Name: Mistborn
    Age: 15
    Country: United States of 'Murica
Experience with Minecraft and MMORPGs: I've played just about every form of Minecraft MMORPGs there is. I love minecraft and adventure, and I've downloaded loads of adventure mods, played tons of different servers like this one, Wynncraft, Massivecraft, those are the popular ones.
Reason you want to join the beta: I really want to see a server like this work out and I love this sort of thing. I'm hoping I can contribute anyway possible to make this thing a reality! (Well, I guess it is a reality already, but I still want to be a part of it)
How long you can be online per day: At least an hour, depending on how busy I am with school and stuff.
