Download it home and take it on a USB stick and transfer it to the computer? Maybe taht will help you with the updates :) You can play single player atleast :D if you want to play multiplayer well.. cant help you there, dont know how well protected the computers are, 100% there is a way, but without direct access to the machine I cant help you :) I use to do things like these in school all the time, quite frankly i loved proving the school system that their IT department dont have any idea what they are doing xD

    Indeed I do.
For a while I used Qubicle to build voxel models, then import them into BD Cubik PRO, after which I'd manually optimize them, then add a texture. This was an extremely arduous process and as a result I was incapable of making very detailed models.

With the recent release of Cubik Studio, however, my voxel models can be loaded directly into Cubik Studio and converted to elements at the click of a button. There are still some hurdles to overcome, scaling and rotation can prove to be a bit of an issue, but if you know what you're doing you can make some extremely detailed models with ease. It's merely time consuming to make each one, as I'm still figuring out a proper workflow.

Hey, if you ever make this into a mod, please PM me, i would love to see how i can texture these bad boys in 256x256 :)

posted a message on is a seed from minecraft pocket edition 0.16 going to have an strong hold in it on 1.0.0?

Minecraft seeds work different on every mayor update, for instance same seed is not the same map on different versions. so a 0.16 seed will probably give something totally different on 1.0

posted a message on How do I get better resolution for Minecraft

Some packs work without optifine, some dont. If the pack has advance stuff you must run optifine with it, if it only changes the blocks then it will work without optifine without a problem.

I wrote a tutorial for my texture pack, take a look here: https://d-hive.net/affinity-hd-tutorial/

It might explain better on what you need to do. Cheers!

    - If you can only have so many files for your packs or a total size limit (Ex: a total of 100Gb limit), then show how much you have used so far. Also if a pack has mod support (add-on or in the pack) then have an option/tag/filter/whatever to say "Hey, I have mod support" & you can search for packs that have mod support.
    - MAYBE a tag for packs that have custom sounds, languages, models in their packs (obviously with a tag/filter/option in it for searches).
    - Twitter registration too (maybe)
    - (Question) How would you make custom domains work? (Ex: faithful.example.com)?
    - Make me controller/mod/admin of the site ;) :P

    - I am planing on moving the website to a dedicated machine if it is a success, when i do that there will be a free hosting option for artists to host their packs. for now you will just have to upload them somewhere and post the download link like you are now. Sadly im on a tight budget (my payment is low) and i cant afford to start on a dedi machine.

    - Will see what I can do about the mod support / etc tags, how to implement them and so on. Probably doable :)

    - I will add more social media integration, that should be the easy part if people need it :)

    - Yes custom SUBdomains work like that, you get a subdomain for your pack that redirects you to your pack page, so you dont have to paste a messy looking link when sharing the pack, you can just use a pack.domain.space

The game you love is still there, you are just not looking hard enough :)

There are still servers that re ignite the glory days, you can still have fun in the game, everything is still great, its the people. People have become more anti social, they rarely vote / leave feedback because well they are lazy and dont wanna bother when "some one else can do it"

Though I agree that the game has lost its popularity from the good old glory days, you can still bring those days back :)

Been working lately on a pack sharing website, if anyone has anything to add would i would appreciate it :)

    Current features:

    - Custom page (editable in every form)

    - Sorty by, date, update, likes, comments.

    - additional filters to sort by platform (java,pe, win10)

    - Additional filters to sort by style / theme

    - Additional filters to sort by resolution

    - Additional filters to sort by native resolution

    - Added native resolution (lets users pick a resolution that the pack looks best on)

    - Change tags to show on pack preview

    - Submited packs must pass evaluation and must have the required content (screen shots, description, etc.)

    - User and artists able to comment on texture packs

    - users able to thumb up packs

    - supporting adfly or any other url shortener

    - SSL secure (entire website is ssl secure)

    - facebook registration

    - custom subdomain for sharing the pack

    - site wide forums to discuss anything.

    - add friends option

    - PM-s

    TO DO:

    - add tutorials

    - make a private support page for packs (users will be able to send tickets directly to authors)

    - add private reviews.

IF you have any more ideas I would greatly appriciate it :) I want to make this website a place where artists have the abbility to share their packs like they want to, and to let the users browse these packs with ease.

I think your better option is to use optifine with forge.
