Nice textures :) Now to get back to the union issue.

A new thread is bout a good and a bad idea, good idea because you can post links to projects that Union members work on, making the thread a sort of HUB for legitimate non stolen content. Artists and developers will still keep their own threads on the forums, the union topic will just provide links to the project themselves so people know its a legit project and has no stolen goods. Bad idea because well everything you people mentioned so far. The union should keep the chit chat off MC forums, maybe get a website forums going or something like that, provide a place for people to talk about projects art etc, and when something is finalised, post it on the forum thread.

Now as for the copyright, as far as copyright goes, If you put your pack under any copyright, and some1 brakes that copyright, aka uses your textures without giving credit, or selling your work or anything remotely close, you contact the person explaining to him / her that he violated the copyright, if the person doesn't do anything about it, you contact the hosting company that hosts the content, trust me when I say, when a hosting company receives a copyright claim letter they act on it, just because its easier to act then to get into even more trouble. Most of the hosting companies go by law, so they will oblige your copyright claims and remove the content from the website, or shutdown the website completely if the person does not want to take off the copyrighted content. That being said claiming your art back is easy, just takes a few days to contact everyone and request it to be taken down, I did this myself on several occasions, its really not that hard.

So feel free to post your thought and ideas :)

All we have to do is just create a new thread & we can (maybe) still use the old rules, or just do what we do now. I would happy love to see a new thread. I mean we do a mod version of it that can be found here.

I don't know if its worth it. If it failed before i doubt that we can make a change, I am interested but that's just one person.

It would be nice to see it reborn, a place where artist can chill out and help each other out would be a nice idea.

I was thinking about making a new thread, even a website for it, but Don't know if it's really needed.

What do you my fellow artist think?

Would you like to see the union reborn? :D We can make it happen, but I cant do it alone :)

    Hello everyone.

I am a bit curious to weather the Texture Pack Artist Union is still among the living?

I see some members are still active and so on, but the owner or the thread owner seems to be missing?

posted a message on Is a new Realistic pack needed?

Hello there, I have been looking around, and most of the photo realistic packs are either on poor quality or not updated.

My question to the community is:

Is another photo realistic texture pack needed?

I was planing on making a photo realistic pack for minecraft going from x32 to x1024 in size, but don't know if its needed due to the other popular ones out there. Any suggestions / feedback?

Heho...your Post and the Page say Affinity support Mods...but i cant find any mod-module? Are there some or is it in work? Your Pack looks great :)

I am currently working on adding mod support. The hardest was deciding what mod to do 1st. And as life always has it i picked the hardest one possible xD :D so its gonna take a bit of time. Im the meantime, why dont you tell me what mod you would like to see supported? :)if it s a popular mod Im sure i'll add support for it :)

I realize that I have not posted anything in a while, nor added any updates for this, but lets be honest, This is not one of the more popular packs. However, I am almost finished with the website upgrade (as can be seen on www.d-hive.net) all downloads on the new website are live, and everything is almost prepared for my next projects :) at the moment I am working on adding normal maps for textures for those of you who like shaders. This will add depth to the existing textures of Affinity-HD.

For the latest updates i suggest you follow one of the social media websites for d-hive.net I constantly keep adding and posting news there so people know whats going on with their favorite pack :)

Thank you everyone for the support you have shown so far, and stay tuned for more Affinity-HD surprises and updates!
