    Anyway, I wanted to weigh in on the Diamond Pickaxe issue. The idea of having magical ingredients to make diamond tier items was a part of my original idea. That you would need to use bucket method to reach the Nether was something I had taken into account with the original design I showed you. It was meant that you would have to make at least one expedition to the Nether the hard way before you could do it the easy way. So, for what it's worth, that was my intent.

    Now, I do acknowledge that the bucket method might not be as intuitive to others as it is to me (I actually never thought of getting diamond first until someone suggested it). There are a few ways to deal with that without making diamond gear easy to tierskip to again.


    1. Reduce the tier of tool needed to break Obsidian, possibly lowering its break speed to compensate. - Probably the worst method.
    2. Add in a Steel tier that can break Obsidian, but isn't as good as Diamond, and takes more work to craft. - Redundant with many mods.
    3. As was previously suggested, offer a difficult way to craft Diamond with overworld materials. - Effective, but not my favourite.
    4. Add generated structures, probably with traps/guardians, that contain pre-built unlit portals. - I think this would be coolest.

    I mean, real life obsidian can just be broken with an antler.

    Something that I've wanted to see in a mod for a long time is proper stealth. I think sneaking should make mobs not immediately turn to aggro, but instead, mobs will only try to attack you if they actually see or hear you. Not sneaking in a cave will have a chance to make a sound similar to rocks crackling and tumbling, while not sneaking in a forest-type biome will have a lower chance to make a sound like a twig snapping.

    I think the overlapping string and leather strips is intended, to show that they are interchangeable catalyst items. I do think it could be changed somehow.

    Sawdust should be an item byproduct of crafting planks. There isn't a 2nd crafting slot in your inventory, so it would simply drop to the ground and you can pick it up afterwards. Sawdust could be used to assist fueling campfires, and could also maybe be used as glue, an assistant to crafting other wood-based items (not sure what).

    The player should start off with a smaller inventory space, and crafting and equipping the backpack would get the player back up to normal inventory size.
