Ok the problem seems to be incompatible with Twilight Forest. Maybe add that to the first post :biggrin.gif:

"No picks no clicks"? Seriously? ITS A FREAKING SEED! There is no "clicking". There is no downloading. LOAD UP MINECRAFT AND PUT IN THE SEED.

    That is all.

    Quote from Fen_Hydra

I agree completely. It takes no effort to kill an enderman and replace one block. It makes them unique and can give extra challenge.

In fact, I haven't even seen a single enderman stealing a single block from my village, which does not have a wall or even a fence.

The only reason you could complain is if you built a house out of diamond blocks, but then it's your fault for being so stupid and not protecting it.

Apparently a friend of mine on a university server had a problem with them.. she and her friends built a town with walls ,and a group of endermen tore out enough wall to let creepers in. EPIC.

posted a message on Snowmen, a look at the future?
Is it possible to create a snow golem like the one Notch had in his screenshot?

As for the rest of the topic, awesome stuff, lets hope the dev team is reading and making notes :happy.gif:

re: comments on golems n ot being alive> true (although in some RPGs, the so-called flesh golems are, sort of, although the rest are not), but I still think the idea of "golem animator" being made of soul sand and something (Enderpear is good, but some other ideas would work too.. perhaps based on the sort of golem you want). The idea of animating it with latent soul energy is j ust awesome *Steals for his own tabletop RPG*

Another idea: fence post + fence post + pumpking -> scarecrow. Low m obility, repulses animal-type mobs, and passively increases the growth rate of crops (not trees) in a small area. Not all ideas have to be anti-mob :biggrin.gif:

posted a message on Mojang is NOT incompetent.
    Quote from Phar

That topic? You mean the topic that isn't locked, the topic that you can reply to? Yes, please, keep it in a single topic.

Yeah, where it will get lost among the 16+pages of comments/replies already there, rather than standing out boldy for all of us who happen to agree with the OP?

To the OP, and the person who posted a huge thank you to Mojang for Minecraft in general, I applaud and stand with you on this, against the tide of whining and bitching. You've pretty much said exactly what I've been far too lazy to write myself.

posted a message on 1.9 or 1.8.2? i say 1.8.2 not much of an update...
Besides, adding stronghold-like structures and 2 new mobs to the nether is *far* more content than the update where he added wolves, and that got its own number. Add on top of that the bug fixes and the snow golem and its defifnately worth its own number

posted a message on texture editing problems
So I was sitting here thinking, "I don't know java, and Im too dumb to learn it.. maybe I can figure out how to edit textures and contribute to the community this way!" and so loaded up terrain.png from my painterly pack in photoshop and proceeded to play around with it. I liked what I did, saved it, and inserted it back into my painterly .zip that was sitting in my texturepacks directory. All proud, I proceeded to load up and game, and behold!

Areas that should be transparent (like around wild grass, saplings, etc) and the sides of blocks are straight up white. The picture I linked should show that, I hope.

Anyways, what am I doing wrong? Did I mess something up somewhere? How can I fix it? I must know! *cry*

Also, if this is in the wrong forum area, sorry :sad.gif:

Interesting. I could see goblins being tame-able and maybe be set to patrol your walls.

Maybe a path way block they follow until they reach the end and then walk the other way back.

    Like a dirt trail block

Ooh, thats an interesting idea. Mayhaps set goblins to spawn underground primarily, in like.. village clusters (combine with formivores citys mod!) that you can find and ensla-..er.. recruit. *cough*

posted a message on [1.0.0]Salt and Potatoes mod! 137 Downloads[2.0.1]
What you need to add to this mod is Potato Chips, Hash Browns, and Baked potatos :biggrin.gif: Maybe some compatibility with Nandonalts cheese mod so you coul dhave cheesy baked potatos and hashbrowns :happy.gif:

edit: if you get salt flat biomes in, then you will win. Just make sure they are recessed into the ground a bit, since mostly they tend to b e former lakes/rivers/etc that have evaporatoed.
