"Yes, but you are probably better at it then me, but then again, I think I'm basically just a cross dresser. But its more for just to not be easily noticed by that one person whose going to be there, but I do suppose that there is the possibility of others not liking me. But if you want me to try to change my voice, I could just let my other personality take over, but its slightly mean and sometimes authoritative, its also why some don't like me."
Casey looked around and just grinned as she immediately sat down and started to rest on her bag. She then looked up and said, "Heh, might as well, who knows. Something might happen later that'll require at least not being tired. But it just occurred to me that your son is traveling with someone who might not like me that much." Casey was now looking through her bag, pulling out a hat. She then sighed as she stuffed her hair into it and placed it on her head. She then stood up and fixed the cloak she wears to hide her appearance. Once done she turned back around and said, "So I think it'll be a good ideal for me to disguise myself, my voice I can't really change, but I've been told I look like a boy whenever I dress like this, what do you think?"
((considering this is my rp, but I'm fine with it as long as you give me a link, it'll also be nice for credit, mostly due to this being the only rp someone is going to try and reboot thats not me. Sorry if this sounds a bit demanding though.))
Casey just stared before she looked down and sighed. She decided that this conversation might be best for another time and stayed quiet. She knew very well that she was beaten and just followed.
"Um, no offense but your family is weird. But I guess its not in my position to say that, considering that past events in my life split my personality." Casey sighed once again, continuing her role as a follower.
((You know, you never responded to the other two.))
"Huh, oh its nothing. Its just my mom, she died when I was five, right after she told me the quote actually. It's normally the reason I try to avoid thinking about it, perhaps she knew she was going to die, but why? It was even a mysterious one, for all I know from whats happened so far, she could be alive out there, but that's just a hopeful dream. Anyways, lets just go, my family probably isn't a exciting one." She then sighed as she turned around, hoping he'll let it go and they could continue, but she then stopped and said, "If you want to we could just continue this at a later date, perhaps after you deal with your own family problems, mine can be taken care of at a later date." She then just smirked as she continued to walk slowly.
"I've heard some people mention that there were mutants beyond, but I only believed there were small ones, and I never heard any mention of ones that large though. But its funny, for so long I never thought that I would see the outside world, my father and his friend told me it was a wasteland, but there is some beauty out here, it reminds of something someone told me one. 'The world is like a phoenix, no matter how much destruction is caused, nature will reclaim it, turning the ruins of war into beauty of peace.' But again, I'm not sure were I heard it, I was young when it was told to me." Casey then started to stare up at the sky, starting to look sad for some reason.
"It certainly does have that quality I guess, but I wouldn't want to fight something like that alone. What is it, and are we gonna reach our destination soon?"
David sits down and sighs. He remembers something and huffs. God damnit. Looks like I won't be able to pick it up just yet.
((Mkay.))
The man and Casey walk for a while through the abandoned subway, seeing the occasional Dweller pass by, when they reach a station. They go up the stairs and end up finding themselves in an abandoned mall. "Ah, the Mall. We are close. Well, to the Outside anyways. The city is another few hours away."
Casey simply nodded in response. As she followed she was starting to get bored, starting to think of different ways to entertain herself, deciding to hum a song to herself, though loud enough to be heard.
Casey just sat there a while, regaining some of her strength. She then sighed as she stood up and said, "I'll be back here as soon as I can." She then turned around and left for her house, which wasn't that far. Once there she noticed no one was home and left a note as she packed a light bag before taking off again. She returned to the ally again and said, "Okay, I've backed a light bag and left a note saying that I'll be staying at a friends house, they wont question it at all, we may leave now."
"I-I, but, um...fine. But there might be some out there who dislike me. I would ask for proof, but I don't want to take the chance of being killed. But there will be the problem of both my guardian and some friends being worried. Also, were do you propose I go from here? Another good question is, um, can you let me go now, you holding my neck is not that great and I would very much like to sit down, I've basically been running around everywhere and you holding me up is not helping, I might even pass out."
