Ok, slight issue making a server.
I downloaded the thing from minecraft.net
I ran it and did the /stop like i was supposed to.
Next I tried to do Port Forwarding like described.
Next thing i know is when i put in my ip adress as well as the five numbers that they gave me for port forwarding my computer no longer lets me connect to the internet. After troubleshooting for over a hour I decided to do a system restore and I'm back to normal.
    What did i do wrong?

Well if it is eventually fixed I'll be happy. I rather enjoy playing minecraft because it is relaxing when I'm designing something. The music adds to it. It is an icon.

I apeared in a huge quarry filled with stone. Sheeps and cows grazed on grass while chickens pecked for seeds. I watched the sun as I felt the first rays lightly play across my pixalated skin. I started to climb the quarry and from my vantage point i was able to see that a river passed through the area I was in and made a waterfall. It cut a triangle into the land next to a huge body of water. I decided this was where I would build my first house. My first house was made of sand and sandstone and lacking a bed I hid from the mass of zombies and later what I learned were creepers. After the first few days and finally having a bed. I learned that creepers were immune to the sun, and I had a taste of what they can do to me and my house as I exit my door.

Not sure how to make a server yet, But that is a shame about the music. Might as well just loop the music myself in a playlist.

Hey everyone NicolaoNerio here. I'm fairly new to minecraft. Only been playing for about half a year now. I started minecraft on the 360 and now I am finally feeling what it's like upgrading to the PC. So far it's awesome. Found a huge mine next to the field where I built my first house but there is only one problem.
After playing for about 10 minutes I start to hear music that I know and love from minecraft. After it finishes playing after it's minute thirty second. I don't hear it again for another 10 minutes. Sometimes it's just this creepy sound then another ten minutes.
Basicly I do not think that my music is looping in minecraft. I would like some help with this.

    Using Windows 7 64 bit.
    4gb ram
    Intel B800
If you need more info just let me know.
