Peculiar Parkour is an all-new Minecraft parkour map. Peculiar Parkour is more ambitious than any other map I've created. It is significantly longer than anything I've made, although the excitement is still the same as it always was! The amount of pixel art is monumental, while the crazy 'meta' stages will still have you never losing that sense of absolute adventure!
This map is dedicated mainly to, "The Pack," although there are many more dedications at the end. The Pack consists of six Minecraft YouTubers including: JeromeASF, BajanCanadian, Woofless, TBNRfrags, Molestar123, and CraftBattleDuty.
My record time on this map is 17:42, in case anyone wanted a challenge to beat,
Feel free to use this map for YouTube, Twitch or any other video-sharing platform as long as you don't plagiarize.
This map was created and intended for fun, so enjoy yourself! Thank you!
So here I am, in my survival world. I just got my second beacon and when placing it down on top of the several stacks of iron blocks, I think about what effect I want. I click the GUI and am trying to decide, when a creeper strolls up the iron blocks and blows up. He blew up the beacon. He blew up what took hours and hours to get. It didn't drop a nether star and I'm fairly certain it isn't supposed to. You can imagine my frustration.
Just to make it clear, I believe that beacons should not be able to be exploded at all, just like ender chests.
While you use 5 glass to create it, beacons are also made of 3 obsidian (which is indestructible by creepers and explosions), and 1 Nether Star (which is ALSO indestructible by creepers and explosions). Why is it that beacons, which by their crafting recipe seem to be one of the most indestructible blocks in the game, blow up by normal creepers. Ender chests are made with obsidian and they can't be blown up. Enchanting tables are made with just 1 more block of obsidian, and they cannot be destroyed by creepers.
Whilst researching why this happens, I've come across a few things. Apparently, beacons can be broken by hand, and will give the beacon. This suggestion supports the idea that beacons, just like obsidian and glass, can't be returned to the player if broken by hand. Furthermore, you should need a diamond pickaxe to mine it and get it back, just like obsidian. I believe this should happen with enchantment tables, too, but that is for a different suggestion.
The most popular argument I've seen on this topic is that beacons are fragile blocks. This doesn't make much sense however, as they are made with the most explosively resistant blocks in the game.
Please leave criticism and feedback on this idea, or merely a proper explanation of why beacons act this way. I am a bit salty, so my writing may have been slightly influenced by salt, sorry.
WEIRD Parkour is an all-new 1.8 Minecraft Parkour map. It explores many varieties of parkour, and is a truly 'weird' parkour map. You will find yourself jumping on odd patterns of blocks, slime heads, piston contraptions, and so much more!
This map is dedicated mainly to, "The Pack," although there are many more dedications at the end. The Pack consists of six Minecraft YouTubers including: JeromeASF, BajanCanadian, Woofless, TBNRfrags, Molestar123, and CraftBattleDuty.

My record time on this map is 8:41 in case anyone wanted a challenge. It was, however, a flawless play-through.
This map was intended for fun, so enjoy yourself and have a great time playing!
SUPER Parkour is a 1.8 Minecraft Parkour map. It includes banter-filled jokes, relaxing progression and an overall fun experience. Each stage represents a new theme that will fill you with wonder and curiosity for the next. Several themes include pixel art creations, the heads of your favorite YouTubers, and more random designs to make you never lose interest.
This map has many dedications at the end, but it is mainly dedicated to "the Pack."
The Pack consists of several Minecraft YouTubers including: JeromeASF, TBNRfrags, Bajan Canadian, Molestar123, CraftBattleDuty, and Woofless.
This map was created entirely for fun (or the banter!), so enjoy yourself when playing!
In case anyone wanted a challenge, my record time on this map is 14:51. This is one of the longest maps I have ever created.
Special Thank you to TBNRfrags and TBNRkenWorth for playing this map!
Definitely a great idea for map creators/others who might want this. While I support it, I doubt Mojang will do it as they did just make a huge biome customization update.
I can see how some might appreciate this idea, but it seems like the majority of Minecraft players would argue against it. Maybe this belongs in the mod request section.
Insanity Parkour is my latest, and greatest map. It includes relaxing and banter-filled jumps, spectacular builds that you can parkour on, and a revolutionary change in the design of open-world parkour maps. Each stage has a completely different theme that will make you never lose excitement and wonder.
This map is dedicated to the "Pack," although there are many more dedications at the end. The "Pack" consists of TBNRfrags, Woofless, CraftBattleDuty, JeromeASF, Vikkstar123, and Bajan Canadian.
My record time on this map is 9:03, in case anyone wanted a challenge.
Feel free to use this map for YouTube, Twitch, or any other video-sharing platform, as long as you don't plagiarize.
This map was created for fun, so enjoy yourself, and have a good time playing!
Word of advice: Complementing your own idea can get you shredded with negativity. As for the suggestion, I'm pretty sure you can do this with some extensive command block work, though it should be easier.

It doesn't seem very hard to implement into the game, and would be quite handy for map makers such as myself.
