You've got to be kidding me. I just finished 1.0... *Sigh...*
Anyway, great map. The Indiana Jones like ending was awesome.
The part with the signs next to the helicopter was funny also.
Anyway, great terrain, great puzzles, and great everything in general.
Haha...don't feel like you missed out. They were very minor changes that do not affect the story at all. And I'm glad someone laughed at the very end. Thanks for your feedback.
The Lets Plays that I have seen are quite disappointing! People are missing very obvious details, that are causing them to get frustrated. So I added **Tips** in the thread. Just take your time on the map, and read!
did you use a mod or anything for the landscape and such? I've been trying to find a mod to help me create nice landscapes and scenery, but i'm not finding anything too great.
What you need is a bukkit server. (www.bukkit.org) Then you need to download a plugin called "Voxel Sniper" There are plenty of youtube videos on it, so check it out.
Wow this looks like a great map, mind if i go and make a LP of it (even though it will probly not be seen for awhile since i don't have that big of a youtube channle do to real life trouble lol).
You can make a LP if you want to. And it will help me make the map better by watching some one else play.
It would be cool if you added a different biome to the map by the wooden bridge area, like Taiga.
As of now, I don't know of anyway to change a biome completely. Even the Bukkit plugins that claim to do this don't work. But I think its good the way it is.
Are you trained with using World Edit/Voxel Sniper?: (Yes or no. If yes, tell which or if you know both.)
I am very skilled with both World Edit and Voxel Sniper. If I get creative mode, and some time, I can build you an entire city from Skyrim single handed.
I have Teamspeak and Skype. If you want to see other creations I made you can hop into my server and I'll show you everything.
This map is amazing! I am only an hour into it; just got to the wooden bridge part. The map is pretty much idiot proof. I took me forever to go through the jumping intensive areas; my computer lagged me off what i was standing on(Don't use a slow Computer) I love the hidden areas!
Thanks for your comment. Right now I would really appreciate more reviews to make sure it is balanced and bug free.
Great map, well laid out and fairly intuitive, especially for not having a massive plotline, which was kinda refreshing, actually. I will say, though, that I got a little tired of the jumping puzzles by the end; they could have used some checkpoints along the way so that falling doesn't mean starting all the way over. But the jungle theme was really well done and made me feel like it was some sort of Indiana Jones adventure.
Thank you for the review. Like it says in the thread, not much reading has to be done to follow the pot, which is what I was aiming for because the last thing I want to do when paying a video game is read. I also understand the jumping puzzles may get frustrating at the end, so I will probably add in check points in the next version. Credit will go to you in the bug submissions.
I would really appreciate some feedback. Was it good? Terrible? Absolutely Amazing? So bad that I should just delete it and pretend it never existed? It would really help me since my beta testers don't do the only thing they need to do, so I hope there are no hidden bugs.
This map is so sick! I played through the whole thing but only got 32 ingots. Will you make another map like this??
Probobly not. This took far too much of my time, and with the little help that I get, it will just take even longer. Unless I get a ton of support, the answer is no.
hey man, im making a lets play this is absolutely amazing so far, up to the underwater cave thing... u know the one where the minecart comes whe you enter the right code. all grats and a link to this post will be availble in my description.
