Just got done dealing with something similar. What I found where my gradle and other references where not correct due to putting the project on a portable drive. Needless to say the references where broken, and I was never able to get eclipse to work outside the computer I created the workspace on. Java is not my usual language, so the IDE is not that familiar.

So, what I found are two things. First, right click on the root project (should have the exclamation point), then Build Path, and a settings window should pop up. From my eclipse I click on the Libraries tab, and sure enough, all references to the project were red. Second thing I found was it wanted me to go through and edit each one myself.

SO, next I opened the .classpath file in the project folder. Each one has a path, you should be able to replace out the path with the correct one via Notepad++ or something similar.

From there I reloaded the project, no error icon, no issues, compiles, and ran in debug. As long as the code is good you should be too. Hope this helps out.
